Month in Review

1: Box Office | I not only some some fabulous films on DVD this past month – looks like January will be a busy review month, I also went to the box office twice and thoroughly enjoyed both films. Can you guess what I saw? Did you see anything grand?

2: Lindsey Stirling’s Warmer in the Winter | I’ve heard Lindsey’s music prior to this year, but this is the first year I’ve really listened to her song ‘Warmer in the Winter’ and also, I watched the adorable video that accompanies it. Dancing with the Stars fans may recognize a familiar face too!

3: Vanity Fair (Amazon Prime) | Over these past few days, we binge-watched this, and… I like it. In some sense I anticipated loving it because it’s a period drama, but in another with vague visions of the 2004 film dancing in my head, I also had an inkling this one wouldn’t receive a happy end. Still, it is entertaining and I do like the kind of tongue and cheek way this one plays to the audience. You can stream this one on Amazon Prime.

PS »Dear Readers«

In case you didn’t notice, there are changes around Finding Wonderland. We’ve moved. I do plan to write a more thorough blog post about this, but in the meantime, I do want to let you know about updates.

If you’re a reader and you’d like to receive updates from this little space (THANK YOU to everyone who does want to), you’ll have to re-follow the blog. Or those who keep up to date via GFC will.

You can do this in one of three ways.

  • Sign up for the RSS Feed (once daily, at most, email update)
  • Sign up for the content update list (this one only goes out 1-2 x a month, at most)
  • Copy + Paste the URL into your Blogger dashboard via the “manage reading list” button (this option is if you’re old-fashioned – like me, and you still use the dashboard)
  • Follow via BlogLovin’ (the feed details I’m still trying to figure out, so that’s not being updated just now)

*Please note, to receive any of these, you will have to “confirm” via email, and this email may be sent to your junk folder

»Around the Interwebs« what else am I writing?

Silver Petticoat | Taking a look back at my month in review on Silver Petticoat.

Articles and Lists | For the Classic Romantic Moment of the Month (and appropriately for Christmas), we remember the iconic While You Were SleepingWho else thinks this one if full of perfect romantic moments!? We also preview the Winter 2019 Box Office; what do you plan to see this in theaters this season?

Film and TV Reviews | I saw Second Act in theaters with Jennifer Lopez, and though different than I anticipated, I thoroughly enjoyed it; also, to celebrate the season I review Netflix’s The Holiday Calendar and revisit the classic that is Little Women (1994), which I still adore.

TV Recaps | None!

As always, thanks to the editors of Silver Petticoat and my fellow contributors! Working with you all is always fun.

That’s an end to the month here at #FindingWonderlandBlog. What was your bookish, blogging or life like this past month? What tips, advice or new tricks are you learning to keep up with the changing blogging world? Did you discover any new (and amazing) authors or reads? How about new bloggers? Or must-try new finds? Comment down below with your thoughts! As always, I’d love to chat with you.

Thank you for visiting Finding Wonderland

please excuse the “disorder.” you can read more about Finding Wonderland’s changes, new follow options and why archive posts are a mess in my “Disorder + Feedback” post!
