Hello, everyone! How is it that we’re about to enter the fifth (fifth) month of 2019? Another month closer to the halfway point of a year that is speeding by at far too rapid a pace. Today, we again tackle Finding Wonderland’s past thirty days with a Month in Review April 2019 edition. Make sure to share some of your favorite discoveries in the comments.

Ciao, April 2019. Bonjour, April 2019!

1: Bookshelf | Finally done moving all the books, and assembling the new shelves. However, I’m not sure I like them in their new location. There’s pros and cons, but the biggest pro is it’d mean my books and props are in the same room for bookstagram photos. Not sure if that’s incentive enough to keep the shelves in this new room. All I know is I’d best decide!

2: INSPYs Shortlists 2019 | Our 2019 shortlists are coming… we thank you for your patience as we work through differing time zones, and schedules to ensure we have had the most thorough conversations about the titles nominated. Keep checking!

3: Nail Polish | I found this polish called ‘Watercolor’ by Color Club at (of all places) WalMart. It’s water based, so I like its fewer ingredient formula, but its wear isn’t the best for me. Given than my nails are always breaking, I will admit, I’m probably not the best judge, but I’m curious: do you have any brands you like for a “cleaner” ingredient list?

4: TS7 | Taylor Swift released a shiny new single all about pastels and individuality. Is this the start of the “new,” but really still the old Taylor (that we know and love)? While ‘ME!‘ might not be an instant new favorite, I love its bubbly personality, and fun appearance; plus, as Taylor said in a live, it’s another of her signature songs that isn’t meant to be serious! Instead it’s meant to put a smile on the listeners face and as any good pop song does, get stuck in our head.

Silver Petticoat | Taking a look back at my month in review on Silver Petticoat.

Silver Petticoat Update, Edition One

Articles and Lists | Because its now 20 years old (why do I suddenly feel old??), this past month we spotlight the adorable romantic comedy Never Been Kissed in our Classic Romantic Moment; and we also previewed the April 2019 Hallmark Spring Fever originals (make sure to look for re-airs if you missed the adorableness).

Film and TV Reviews | Netflix continues to charm us with their romantic-comedies, the one I featured this month is The Perfect Date which co-stars Peter from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. Also, I finally watched and contributed a review for Dare to Be Wild, a charming biopic that reminds us to dream – fearlessly!

TV Recaps | None!

As always, thanks to the editors of Silver Petticoat and my fellow contributors! Working with you all is always fun.

This brings us to the close of another ‘month in review’ here at Finding Wonderland. Tell me, did you make any great new discoveries this past month? I think this is my first time hearing about a water based nail polish and I have to say, I think I need a trip to Walmart.
Yay for TS! I can’t wait for new music!
I remember loving Never Been Kissed when I saw it years ago! It’s such an adorable and quirky movie.

I don’t know much about the water based polishes, but they seem like a “better” choice; I only wish mine would last longer.

New Taylor Swift music is THE best. I always did enjoy Never Been Kissed, and when I recently re-watched it, my feeling still hasn’t changed. So adorable!! :)
