It’s a new month, and that means, new movies to discover! One of my favorite networks to find new romances is Hallmark. But then, you all knew this, right? Now that October is here, we get to take a walk through the new on Hallmark October 2019 premieres. A slate that – dare I say this? – already includes a few Christmas movies.
Before we take a look at those few Christmas newbies (which I am so not ready for), Hallmark has a few autumnal originals sure to evoke all those warm feelings where nutmeg, cinnamon and pumpkin, crisp air and pretty leaves paint this new season. If you’re anything like me, you’ll soak up these seasonal romances because after this, Hallmark turns on the Christmas lights with a full-on Christmas-y schedule. To be honest, much as I adore these movies, sometimes, it’s just a tiny bit too early for that kind of seasonal cheer.
‘Love Comes Softly’ 40 Years of Joy: Why this is a Timeless Romance
But we’ll talk about the start of their 2019 Christmas season (which marks ten years for the network), later on down the line. For now, let’s take a look at the 2019 Fall Harvest originals. (Which I’m super excited for!)
New on Hallmark October 2019
While I do my best to ensure these dates/titles are accurate, these dates, titles or times are subject to change; be sure to check HallmarkChannel.com for the most up to date schedule. I’ll also update here if I see any changes.
1: Over the Moon in Love – October 5

Jessica Lowndes stars in this sweetheart romance about a woman who falls in love with her childhood crush.
2: Love, Fall and Order – October 12
This one is a small town story about a woman who returns to her hometown where she must face her former rival on opposing sides of a legal debate. Erin Cahill and Trevor Donovan star.
3: Good Witch: Curse of a Rose – October 19
Ah, the Good Witch! Who doesn’t like Catherine Bell as the charming and likable Cassie Nighingale? As an annual tradition, we see a new autumn movie original before the new season of Good Witch eventually begins.
4: Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses – October 26
Jill Wagner stars in the first ‘Countdown to Christmas’ romance in which she plays a decorator hired to transform a businessman’s home three weeks before Christmas.
HALLMARK MOVIES AND MYSTERIES
Just in case you don’t see anything on the new Hallmark Channel to pique your curiosity, you can also see the following new premieres (there’s a lot!) on their sister network, Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.
1: Matchmaker Mysteries: A Killer Engagement – October 6
A new mystery series, Danica McKeller leads this latest “signature mystery.”
2&3: Crossword Mysteries: Proposing Murder (October 13) and Crossword Mysteries: Abracadaver (October 20)
Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott return in their mystery series, with two all new mysteries.
4: A Merry Christmas Match – October 25

Don’t know much about this one, but it sounds like it’ll be a quaint little romance that is set in a “ski village.”
5: A Nostalgic Christmas – October 31
Brooke D’Orsay stars in this second Miracles of Christmas original. Alongside Trevor Donovan, Brooke plays Anne, a woman who helps her family close down their toy store company, only to discover they may not have to.

That brings us to an end of the ‘new on Hallmark October 2019’ line up! There’s a lot, right? I’m curious, which of these are you making DVR space for? Do you watch the network throughout the year or just during the Christmas season? Comment down below with all of your thoughts.
