Hello, (!!) January 2020 – and a new decade. Welcome, readers. The first of a new month comes to Finding Wonderland with the usual: another installment of ‘Month in Review: December 2019.’ This one is a bit later than usual because I pushed it back due to having WAY too many publishing goals at the end of the month, and of course, the New Year holiday.
Like last month, this site is FULL of seasonal content, while the seasonal content should be coming to an end (I have one or two additionally to publish so they’re in the archives), hopefully the amount of content will continue. Same as always, I have so many things started, and am hopefully going to walk them to completion. *fingers crossed* As I ask each “month in review,” do make sure to share some of your favorite discoveries in the comments.

Ciao, December 2019. Bonjour, January 2020!
Let’s do this!!
Month in Review: December 2019 Updates, News + #Booktube Talk

»Favorites & Fun (New-y Things) from December 2019«
1: Christmas and New Year | The most wonderful time of year has come and gone. Like everything it came with ups and downs, but the extra time to decompress (primarily for me, this is post-Christmas!) is nice as is the extra family time, even though we sometimes drive each other nuts with our out-of-order days (because of the holidays).
2: Giveaway | As usual first-of-the-month tradition, there’s a new giveaway! It’s a month-long “winner’s choice” affair (again), so you can find all the options and how to enter in the New Book January 2020 Giveaway.
3: Guest Post | This past month I was honored to have the chance to guest post on Ruth Hill’s blog, who most of you likely know if you’re into Hallmark Channel! Thank you, Ruth! I wrote about some of my Hallmark Christmas movie memories to celebrate their 10 years in production, and in turn, she also wrote about (here) her 10 favorite leading men and women from the network!
4: Record Warmth | I’m not sure that I’m totally in for a “warm winter,” but I also don’t like a cold (as in below 32) winter either. Still, this record-breaking warm December was… interesting to say the least.
5: Virgin River (Netflix) | I binge watched this show (someone in-between Hallmark movies!), and loved it. There’s plenty of story-telling to suit a wide range of story enthusiasts. (Oh, and luckily for me, a second season is in the works!)

We’ve been having a warm winter, as well, with tons of rain. If it was snow, we’d have feet of it by now, I think!
Yeah, it’s been quite warm here! We had some snow/freezing ice over the weekend with another chance this upcoming weekend, but so far, we’ve been fortunate. :)
