This is a Month in Review Wrap Up: May 2020

May 30, 2020 No Comments

Hey there, happy readers. Welcome back. Month five of 2020 is “in the books” as I like to say. June is poised to arrive a bit cooler than our past few humid and rainy days, so there is that which makes me glad for a cooler spell, no matter how brief. The first of a new month comes to Finding Wonderland with the usual:  another installment of ‘Month in Review May 2020.’

We’re still publishing lots of new content around here, which I’m still excited about. But as I ask each “month in review,” do make sure to share some of your favorite discoveries in the comments – or what you’re looking for from bloggers; is there a topic, trend, niche or anything goes you’re looking to see more of?

Ciao, May 2020. Bonjour, June 2020!

Let’s do this!!

Monthly Chat

1: ABC’s ‘Baker and the Beauty’ | Has anyone watched this? I saw the pilot and think it’s darling, but for reasons I cannot explain, I haven’t watched more episodes. Yet.

2: [NEW] Book Alert! | The Betrothed (by Kiera Cass) is here, and those of you who’ve been here a while will know I’m a huge fan of Kiera’s novels. Needless to say, after months (more like years) of speculation on her new novel, The Betrothed is finally here

3: Emma. (2020) | So this is finally available on digital and DVD, and I also finally watched it. I have thoughts. This is all I’ll say because you’re going to be deluged with lots of Emma content in the next 48 hours. Let’s chat then.

4: Netflix | I just need to write this down as a “document” somewhere. Here’s hoping Netflix continues to produce feel-good, fun TV shows. Much as I like my crime dramas, sometimes I just need a show that is all about the comforts of good characters and stories, even if they sometimes seem silly. Love all the rom-com vibes they’re putting out.

Another month comes to its close, and with it another Finding Wonderland “wrap up.” Tell me, did you discover any AMAZING new books? Bloggers? Booktubers? Bookstagram accounts? I’d love to “meet” these new accounts and the people behind them if so. Tell me about them or the books you’ve read… or anything goes.
