As is always true of any of my “breaking TV and/or movie” news publications, I am late to the party in sharing the most recent news regarding fan favorite Hallmark Channel. But, when it comes to favorite things, is there ever really such a thing as too many opportunities to discuss them? I’d argue the answer is no. This is why I’m sharing the deets on the 2020 Hallmark Christmas Movies!

In addition to these titles and casting news, familiar faces are set to appear in new 2020-2021 programs include Alexa PenaVega; Chaley Rose; Jesse Metcalfe; Jill Wagner; Kristoffer Polaha; Marilu Henner; Mark Taylor; Niall Matter; Tyler Hynes; and more! Plus, you’ll have seen some new Hallmark additions in the above film lists.

Hallmark also has plans for the return of their annual ‘Summer Nights’ and ‘Fall Harvest’ (program blocks we’ll discuss closer to their respective scheduled air dates); and also plans for a new Picture Perfect Mysteries (fall 2020) movie, and in 2021 new installments in the Aurora Teagarden franchise. Mystery 101 and Martha’s Vineyard has new titles in the works, but the air date is currently unspecified. Additionally Chesapeake Shores and Good Witch will return in 2021.
Any way you look at it, as we finish this year and head into the New Year, we have some great new (and old favorites!) things to anticipate from this network.

No matter when they’re posted, I always enjoy receiving your Hallmark updates!
I think out of the main channel ones, A Royal Holiday (Aaron Tveit aka Enjolras from Les Mis 2012 AND Laura Osnes, yes please, especially if her character’s the one with royal blood. And I’m right there with you in keeping my fingers crossed this one will be more on par with Royal Hearts & A Princess for Christmas), Jingle Bell Bride, On the 12th Date of Christmas, and Chateau Christmas are at the top of my list of those I’m most excited for, and for Miracles of Christmas, it’s Holly & Ivy (LOVE that title so much, and Jeremy Jordan anyone?!) and The Christmas Bow.
I appreciate your interest and continued reading of this Hallmark news, Kirsty; always love talking about all this fun! :)
I am SO hopeful for “A Royal Holiday.” I haven’t loved some of their more recent ones so I hope this one resets. Have you read “Jingle Bell Bride”? I’m tempted to pick up the book but I’m trying to de-clutter/unhaul books so I’m recommitting to more purposeful buying as opposed to “on a whim.” (The key word here is TRYING. :D) ‘Chateau’ sounds lovely and of course, I’m always excited to see any of these with new-to-Hallmark favorites. Or that’s been true in year’s past. :)
