Normally I focus on the Christmas cheer that is Hallmark channel, but this year, I decided to also feature the upcoming debuts on Lifetime, because let’s be honest, I watch, let’s call it a healthy number of the Lifetime originals too. All that said, today seems as good a day as any to share the 2020 Lifetime Christmas movie schedule.
LIST | All of the New 2020 Hallmark Christmas Romance Movies!
To simplify things, I’m not going to share every title that will debut. By this I mean, I will share with you all of the titles and their respective air dates, but I won’t single them all out because, well, there a lot (there is 30 of them this go-round) and one has to conserve some space and also the amount of typing I have to do. There’s still several I’m excited for or curious about because of the leading cast, so because of this, we’d best get too it – and make sure to scroll to the end where you can see the entire schedule in one handy Pinterest “pin.”
New 2020 Lifetime Christmas Movie Schedule
aka the ones I’m most excited for!
Forever Christmas
When: October 25 | Who: Chelsea Hobbs, Christopher Russell
Why: Not sure this one will end up being an actual favorite, but I like the sound of a hero who celebrates the seasons 365 days a year. Sounds like it could be fun, right? This one is also known as Mr. 365 on Amazon.
A Welcome Home Christmas
When: November 7 | Who: Jana Kramer, Brandon Quinn
Why: I’m a softie for anything that honors (an important qualifier) the military. This one follows a woman who supports military organizations. Of course, this year, she meets a vet during her work, which will likely spark some chemistry! When it comes to Jana Kramer, sometimes I like her movies, and other times I don’t, so time will tell where this one will rank.
Christmas on Wheels
When: November 14 | Who: Tiya Sircar, Michael Xavier

Why: Don’t love the plot of this one (about a women who looks to find her mother’s convertible because of the memories she attaches to the car), but I do like the idea of seeing Tiya in something again; I really liked her in Netflix’s Good Sam.
Feliz NaviDAD
When: November 21 | Who: Mario Lopez, AnnaLynne McCord

Why: This one sounds really cute – a single dad whose daughter and sister plot to set him up, plus I feel like it’s been a while since I saw Lopez in something.
Dear Christmas
When: November 27 | Who: Melissa Joan Hart, Jason Priestley
Why: Popular TV stars team up on this about a podcast host and a fireman. Adding this one more because I like Jason in the Canadian TV show Private Eyes, but it does sound fun, too.
Spotlight on Christmas
When: December 4 | Who: Tori Anderson
Why: Again, another one that doesn’t sound all that new, but I do like Tori Anderson, and the whole actress-who-returns-to-hide-from-the-press bit can be a fun trope, so… I’ll include this one, too.
Let’s Meet Again on Christmas Eve
When: December 5 | Who: Kyla Pratt, Brookes Darnell
Why: This one sounds all kinds of darling. The plot follows college sweethearts who break up to follow careers on opposite sides of the country, but it comes with a catch! They plan to meet again in 2 years to see if they’re “meant to be.” When one shows, and the other doesn’t, years later they find themselves working together in a most unexpected way.
The Santa Squad
When: December 7 | Who: Rebecca Dalton, Aaron Ashmore
Why: Another trope I like is the whole helping-a-widower-and-his-kids trope. This one is about a women who helps the family rediscover the magic of the season, which kind of reminds me of the “vintage” Christmas movie Once Upon a Christmas, only hopefully this one won’t have any cringe-y special effects!
A Christmas Exchange
When: December 19 | Who: Laura Vandervoot, Rainbow Sun Francks

Why: Oh, gosh! This one sounds darling. It gives me some sense of The Holiday vibes, but also different. It’s about two people who swap homes only to then end up communicating. The only thing that might take away from the charm is that the couple will, likely, be separated for the majority of the film.
A Christmas Break
When: December 20 | Who: Cindy Sampson, Steve Byers
Why: Had to include this one, even if the plot isn’t super interesting, because it features the other half of the Private Eyes co-star pair (now we just need Cindy and Jason Priestly to co-star in a Christmas movie together!). The plot follows a teacher determined to give her kids a very merry Christmas.
There we go! There are ten of the Lifetime Christmas movies I’m quite curious about or excited for. There’s others that feature stars I’m eager to see in more movies, and others still that sound fun, but I decided to go in for a more curated list this year. Which ones are you most anticipating?

Great post!! My Top 5 are A Welcome Home Christmas (anything military themed is an immediate YES for me), Christmas Ever After (LOVE that the heroine is an author of romance novels, that she provides some much-needed disability representation, and just the plot in general to be honest!), Dear Christmas (I just really like the idea of the heroine being a mature aged woman who has never had a serious romantic relationship before… also, the hero is a firefighter, so you really can’t go wrong, haha!), Let’s Meet Again on Christmas Eve (MAJOR An Affair to Remember vibes with this one!), & Lonestar Christmas (The title’s just really catchy, and I like the vibe I’m getting from the actor playing the hero).
Also, as a fun little extra Christmas movie news side-note, one of the many slated to release without a date or network yet is titled The Christmas Ball which stars Nick Hendrix, aka Detective Sergeant Jamie Winter from Midsomer Murders!!
I’m always ALL IN for a good military romance, and YES to a firefighter hero. I mean, really! Who isn’t excited about that!? ;)
Ooo! Yes. ‘Lonestar’ is one I almost added too because like you, I just like the vibe of the title, and am hoping the story is good too.
So fun! I didn’t know Nick had a Christmas movie this year. Maybe it’ll go to a streaming service…!? Sometimes they air in Canada too, and I never know how to watch those, so… I just wait. ;)
