NEW “SPRING FLING” HALLMARK ROMANCE: MARCH AND APRIL 2021 SCHEDULE

by

Time again for another look at the upcoming seasonal block of new premieres coming from Hallmark Channel. This time around, we have their annual “Spring Fling” campaign which includes five new premieres (YAY!) plus new mystery titles as well. Today, instead of one month, we’ll look a little further out and preview the March and April 2021 Hallmark schedule.

LIST | 15+ FAVORITE “STAY IN” ROMANTIC COMEDY MOVIES TO WATCH!

I cannot tell you HOW excited I am about some of these upcoming premieres, which is perhaps why I’m MORE eager than normal to share this schedule. In this line up, there are plenty of familiar faces, but also, a particular new (on Hallmark) face that I cannot wait to see in his debut. But I’m getting ahead of myself. First, let’s talk about what’s to come on Hallmark.

MARCH AND APRIL 2021 HALLMARK SCHEUDLE

Hallmark does sometimes alter their schedule. While I do make every effort to be accurate of the dates of these premieres, sometimes things shift which will change or remove some titles from their lineup. I will try and keep up to date on any changes, and if I catch any, I will make note of it here. Check local listings for specific times.

1: Fit for a Prince – March 6

This isn’t listed as a part of the “Spring Fling” campaign, but does feature Natalie Hall as a woman who falls for Jonathan Keltz’s (Once Upon a Prince) prince. Hall plays a designer hired to design dresses for a charity event with a very special royal guest.

SPRING FLING TITLES

2: Chasing Waterfalls – March 20

This reunites Cindy Busby and Christopher Russell (from Love in the Forecast) in a title where Busby plays a photographer, and Russell a tour guide.

3: Don’t Go Breaking My Heart – March 27

Ryan Paevey plays an undercover reporter whose latest story brings him to a business run by a woman (played by Italia Ricci) who believes her camp helps heal broken hearts. Previously titled Breakup Boot Camp

4: One Perfect Wedding – April 3

Sounds like a title more suited to the June Weddings line up, but this, the first to debut in April, continues to tell the story of Taylor Cole and Jack Turner as Cara and Ben (their story began in One Winter Weekend).

5: As Luck Would Have It – April 10

This is the ONE I’m super excited for. Not just because Joanna Garcia Swisher (Sweet Magnolias) stars, but also because it’s filmed in Ireland and (squee!) because Allen Leech is the co-star! Yes, that’s right Downton Abbey’s Branson makes his Hallmark debut, and I couldn’t be MORE excited. Needless to say I’m eager to watch this film about a woman who heads to Ireland to find the perfect land for a resort.

6: Right in Front of Me – April 17

Janel Parrish returns to Hallmark in a romcom about a woman who gets a second chance to make an impression on her college crush.

BONUS! Hearts Down Under – April 24

As an add on, this Australian rom-com (also titled Romance on the Menu) will air in the U.S. on Hallmark. You’ll see Cindy Busby in the role of a New Yorker who inherits a little Australian café!

PLUS! When Calls the Heart, Sundays

Don’t miss the continued eighth season of When Calls The Heart, the season in which Elizabeth makes a choice. Even without watching it, I’m pretty sure I know who she’ll pick! What are your theories?

HALLMARK MOVIES AND MYSTERIES: MARCH AND APRIL 2021 HALLMARK SCHEDULE

Like usual, if you’re not into romance, then there are a few mystery titles to keep you guessing. In this line up, there is a returning favorite and a new installment in my personal favorite as well.

  • Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: How to Con a Con – March 14
  • Mystery 101: Killer Timing – March 21
  • Crossword Mysteries: Riddle Me Dead – April 11
  • Matchmaker Mysteries: The Art of the Kill – April 18

There we go. There’s the look at the March and April 2021 Hallmark schedule. (Tell me, do you like seeing two months out, or prefer the once a month schedule?) Which of these are YOU excited for? Do you have any in particular you cannot wait to see? Comment all of your thoughts below; I look forward to chatting with you!

  1. I’m right there with you on being over the moon excited about As Luck Would Have It… I cannot WAIT to see Branson in a contemporary romantic lead role, & opposite JoAnna Garcia Swisher, in IRELAND, no less!

I’d also say Right in Front of Me & Don’t Go Breaking My Heart are tied after As Luck Would Have It for second place in my Most Anticipated ranking (mostly due to the awesome casting and plots, though the titles for both are also used as lyrics in songs my brain instantly sings whenever I see them!), with One Perfect Wedding third as I did love the first two instalments… I also love that it seems Jack Turner has decided to undergo a rather extreme make-over for this one, sporting facial hair and a completely bald head, haha!

    1. RIGHT!? Doesn’t this one just sound brimming with potential?! I hope it doesn’t disappoint; oddly enough, of the recent films, it’s been the titles I’m not anticipating that I like most. ;)

I love the titles for the ones you mention and of course, ‘Heart’ (as a song) is SO catchy. Corny as it is, I still love that scene in Ella Enchanted with the cast singing it. :D I caught a glimpse of Jack in the little promo reel and was like, “wait, what!? Is that the same dude!?” But I didn’t look up the cast list… and just assumed. ;)
