COMING TO NETLIFX JULY 2021: THE RETURN OF ORIGINALS, PERIOD DRAMA + MORE!

by

Ok, so randomly, on this day, I made a decision to chat about what’s coming to Netflix. I should likely be prepping videos I need to film, or be reading more or creating graphics (way more fun) or perhaps doing laundry, but am I doing any of this? Nope. Why, because I realized that I might be a bit light on publication material just now. So, this got me thinking and scrambling to find something to share. This then lead me to what’s coming to Netflix, and fortunately, for us, there’s something interesting things coming. Let’s look at the Netflix July 2021 line up. Or some of it (not everything is of interest and therefore doesn’t fit the usual content here).

July will bring with it the return of some Netflix originals (one of which I’m super excited about!) and of course, some new to Netflix movies as well as Netflix originals, including period drama. Let’s just dive into a few of the titles coming to Netflix this next month.

NETFLIX ORIGNALS: JULY 2021

This Little Love of Mine, movie (Rating unknown) – July 7

This one sounds fun and cute and perhaps similar to something like Falling Inn Love (Netflix) or Hearts Down Under (Hallmark). All I know is its set in Australia, so I’m here for it.

Virgin River, season three (TV-14) – July 9

Cannot wait to see what comes next for Mel and Jack, and the entirety of Virgin River (except maybe for Charmaine!). What do you hope comes in season three? I hope to see Mel and Jack finally enjoy a relationship and am curious about the arrival of Jack’s sister.

Never Have I Ever, season two (TV-14) – July 15

Don’t love everything about this show, but I did laugh through season one so I’ll likely at least see what I think of its follow up season. The main cast will return along with some new faces!

The Last Letter from Your Lover, movie (Unknown rating) – July 23

Adapted from the novel, this film features Shailene Woodley, Felicity Jones, Joe Alwyn, and Callum Turner. It’s a time slip type story about a journalist who becomes infatuated with a love story from decades ago.

Resort to Love, movie (Unknown rating) – July 29

Don’t know anything about this one but it sounds fun about a woman who ends up being the entertainment at her ex’s wedding. Christina Milan’s last Netflix film was cute, so here’s hoping!

So, which of these do you plan to watch? Is there anything on the list that jumps out as being something you’ve been curious to see? Comment all of your thoughts below.
