NEW ‘SUMMER NIGHTS’ ROMANCE ON HALLMARK: JUNE 2021 SCHEDULE

by

Unlike their usual ‘June Weddings’ block of programs (who else misses these?), Hallmark is skipping forward to their July summer romance. With it already being the middle of the week, the first June premiere is just around the corner and so, today we’re taking a look at the June 2021 Summer Nights Hallmark schedule.

TV NEWS | NEW UPTV JUNE 2021 SCHEDULE: ‘JUNE GROOMS’ ROMANCE MOVIES!

There’s four new premieres in this lineup, all of which boast familiar faces. Of course, there are some that haven’t made an appearance recently and as a result, I’m going to be curious to see how these pair ups work together. Will they have good chemistry or not. In short, there’s some here that sound like they could be pretty dang good. Plus, between all of the Hallmark Channel stations, there’s a LOT of new premieres. Let’s have a look, shall we?

JUNE 2021 SUMMER NIGHTS HALLMARK SCHEDULE

Hallmark does sometimes alter their schedule. While I do make every effort to be accurate of the dates of these premieres, sometimes things shift which will change or remove some titles from their lineup. I will try and keep up to date on any changes, and if I catch any, I will make note of it here. Check local listings for specific times.

1: YOU HAD ME AT ALOHA – JUNE 5

This title re-pairs Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith (from When Calls the Heart) as the two new (dueling!) travel show hosts who must work together while filming in Hawaii.

2: BAKER’S SON – JUNE 12

Returning to the network is Eloise Mumford who was in Christmas with Holly in what seems like forever ago. In that role I did really like her, so I’m curious to see how she is in this rom-com about a baker who, after losing his touch, must rely on his childhood sweetheart for inspiration.

3: HER PEN PAL – JUNE 19

To impress her ex, a woman, planning her best friend’s wedding, reconnects with her childhood pen pal. This film sounds all kinds of cute and I love that a: it’s set in Paris and b: it sees Mallory Jansen return to Hallmark.

4: SAND DOLLAR COVE – JUNE 26

Based on the novel by Nancy Naigle, this one features a real estate developer who heads to a coastal town to try and acquire a beach front property. Of course, she runs into trouble with the “charming local” who holds the keys (literally) to the property. Love that this one will have Chad Michael Murray in the lead alongside the new-to-Hallmark star Aly Michalka. (Come on, tell me I’m not the only one who used to watch Disney’s Cow Belles!?)

NEW ON HALLMARK DRAMA!

This month, the Hallmark Drama network will also have one new debut. It’s a wedding theme about a couple who encounter many wedding planning setbacks. This forces the best man and maid of honor to step in and, well, save the wedding!

HALLMARK MOVIES AND MYSTERIES

Coming this month to the ‘Movies and Mysteries’ branch is a BRAND-NEW mystery that if successful would, presumably become a series, and the return of a fan favorite sleuth who is likely to finally wear white!

  • 1: AURORA TEAGARDEN MYSTERIES: TIL DEATH DO US PART – JUNE 13
  • 2: TO CATCH A SPY – JUNE 20 (Stars Nathalie Kelley and Colin Donall)

Your turn! What are YOU most excited for?! Will you be watching any of these? Are any of them titles you’ve been anticipating? Comment all of the thoughts in the comment section. I’d love to chat.

  1. Baker’s Son (Brant Daugherty!!) & Her Pen Pal (A Galavant & Madalena reunion where she isn’t evil, set in Paris, with a story that includes a romance that started through letter-writting… I mean!!) are ABSOLUTELY tied as the titles I’m most anticipating out of this month’s offerings, though To Catch a Spy & You Had Me at Aloha come in VERY close second & third ?
