HALLMARK MARCH 2022 SCHEDULE + THE ‘SPRING INTO LOVE’ LINE UP

by

New month’s mean new TV schedules around here. This time around its featuring the Hallmark March 2022 Schedule plus because I simply cannot help myself I also really want to look at the Spring Into Love romances. This means there may not be an April schedule because we’re looking at it today and I’m weird that way.

LIST | FILL THE VOID: IF YOU LIKE ‘SWEET MAGNOLIAS,’ WATCH THIS

The March schedule really has very little new content. But there is plans to re-air some films on their “off” Saturday’s. All this will lead into some cute (sounding) April romance titles and like every month in my let’s-be-repetitive voice, there’s LOTS of familiar faces. Of course we’ll also see one or two new-to-Hallmark faces as well. Let’s meet the new romance movies.

HALLMARK MARCH 2022 SCHEDULE + APRIL 2022 SPRING INTO LOVE ROMANCE

Hallmark does sometimes alter their schedule. While I do make every effort to be accurate of the dates of these premieres, sometimes things shift which will change or remove some titles from their lineup. I will try and keep up to date on any changes, and if I catch any, I will make note of it here. Check local listings for specific times.

1: WHEN CALLS THE HEART (NEW SEASON) – MARCH 6

In the aftermath of last season, it would seem Hallmark and the cast of WCTH is going to try and help viewers fall in love with the Elizabeth and Lucas pairing. I have a HIGH suspicion the majority of people will, but honestly, if I’d been keeping up, I would have serious (fandom) reservations. I mean… the time to bond two characters isn’t in the aftermath, it’s during the building up to something. This I’m saying in reference to the creators saying that this year will focus on building something between Lucas and young Jack. Honestly, I think that was a HUGE miss from the prior season (yes, I do read all the spoilers) and I HIGHLY suspect writers are going to try to mend broken hears by giving Nathan a “convenient” match. Don’t get me wrong, she’ll likely be lovely, but this also won’t likely feel genuine. This I say from years of TV binge watching experience. New episodes will air each Sunday night after the March sixth premiere.

2: FEELING BUTTERFLIES – MARCH 12

Not part of the official spring program block, Feeling Butterflies casts real-life boyfriend Kevin McGarry (speaking of WCTH) and girlfriend Kayla Wallace. The plot puts Kevin as a single dad and Kayla as a woman who owns a butterfly company.

3: A SECOND CHANCE AT LOVE – MARCH 26

This kicks off the official “Spring into Love” program block and is being made quite the deal of given its set to reunite former ER stars. I never watched the show so that means nothing to me, but if you did, you’re likely going to enjoy this. The plot follows a woman in a rocky marriage who distracts herself by trying to mettle in her divorced parents dating life.

4: JUST ONE KISS – APRIL 2

New faces Krysta Rodriguez and Santino Fontana star in this title with an adorable title! It follows two people who don’t realize that they may have a pair of matchmakers pushing them together.

5: A ROYAL RUNAWAY ROMANCE – APRIL 9

Follows a princess who travels across America in pursuit of a romance only to maybe find love with someone unexpected. This one is set to feature new (for Hallmark) stars Philippa Northeast and Brant Daugherty.

6: LOVE, CLASSIFIED – APRIL 16

When a mother comes into town to disrupt the lives of her adult children, people begin to enter their lives who may change their perspectives. The cast will include Melora Hardin, Katherine McNamara, and Max Lloyd-Jones. Note: this film is poised to feature a same-sex relationship.

7: A TAIL OF LOVE – APRIL 23

Speaking of When Calls the Heart, Chris McNally leads the cast in this playing a soldier who bonds with a rescue dog named Indie run by a woman played by Brittany Bristow. This one is also known as Love Rescued and A Dog Named Indie.

HALLMARK MOVIES AND MYSTERIES

In yet another every month repeat of things, if you’re less of a cutesy romance viewer, the sister network of Hallmark Movies and Mysteries will also debut a couple of new films! One of which isn’t likely to be a new mystery, but the other one could be and reunites former Hallmark stars, too!

  • THE PRESENSE OF LOVE (MARCH 13): Eloise Mumford plays a professor who travels to England to visit the farm where her mother grew up. While there she meets a single father who now runs the farm. The “rustic” nature of this one also looks stunning.
  • ALWAYS AMORE (APRIL 3): Autumn Reeser and Tyler Hynes pair up on this one about a woman who must partner with someone to help keep her husband’s restaurant afloat.
  • CURIOUS CATERER: DYING FOR CHOCOLATE (APRIL 10): Nikki DeLoach returns to play a single mother who becomes an unexpected sleuth when she investigates her friend’s death – alongside Andrew Walker’s detective.

Your turn: FILL UP THOSE COMMENTS! What are you excited to see? Do you see any actors you really like? Is there a role someone is playing that seems to suit them? Have you been waiting for any of these? Perhaps MOST importantly, WHAT ARE YOUR WCTH thoughts!??!? Inquiring minds need to know. Comment all the comments below! Let’s chat.
