Here it is! Another new month means another opportunity for a few new premieres on one of our favorite networks, Hallmark. Let’s have a look at the May 2020 Hallmark schedule.
TV FILM REVIEW | ‘Just My Type’: The “Write” Kind of Hallmark Romance
When it comes to new premieres, Hallmark doesn’t have much on their calendar. In the plans now, there’s one all-new premiere, and one non-Hallmark original that will be shown, so in one way the new-ness of movies is slim this month. But, the return of a favorite show will makes its debut and of course, our nostalgic favorites are sure to keep airing as re-airs this month, too.
In the meantime (and in good Hallmark news), June promises a few more new offerings, so we’ll take a look at those once the month edges closer.
New May 2020 Hallmark Schedule
Hallmark does sometimes alter their schedule. While I do make every effort to be accurate of the dates of these premieres, sometimes things shift which will change or remove some titles from their lineup. I will try and keep up to date on any changes, and if I catch any, I will make note of it here. Check local listings for specific times.
1: Good Witch – May 3, TV SHOW
Sundays we will see the return of Catherine Bell and James Denton in Good Witch. One of Hallmark’s charming TV series, this one follows Cassie Nightingale, a woman who may or may not have some magical powers.
2: How to Train Your Husband – May 16
I saw this one quite some time ago, thanks to Amazon Prime. Anyway, it’s not a Hallmark original in the way we think of them. Originally part of an UPTV, Hallmark has the rights to “debut” this one on their network, and if you like a “battle of the sexes” kind of rom-com, you might enjoy this one. Also, that’s all I’ll say since I do have a review on my May 2020 blog schedule!
HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES
If you like romantic-comedies, but prefer something with more emotion behind its storytelling, Hallmark Channel’s sister network might be for you! This month they return with a new installment of a favorite sleuth character.
1: Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek
