A new month is less than 48 hours away, and with its rapid approach, we’re about to see another flurry of Christmas films on a fan favorite network called Hallmark. While we’re dwindling down to the final premieres of 2020, we still have a few on this Hallmark December 2020 schedule to anticipate.
TV FILM REVIEW | ‘Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater’: One of the Really Fun Ones!
As we approach the final block (how is this possible?) of seasonal festiveness that is Christmas films, I’ll confess I’m already curious to know what’s to premiere at the start of 2021? Will there be some Winterfest titles or nothing? Either way, I’m curious. But right now that’s not a topic to ponder. Instead we get to look at the six Hallmark Channel premieres yet to make their way into our hearts this December, and of course, the additional Hallmark Movies & Mysteries titles, too.
HALLMKARK DECEMBER 2020 SCHEDULE
Hallmark does sometimes alter their schedule. While I do make every effort to be accurate of the dates of these premieres, sometimes things shift which will change or remove some titles from their lineup. I will try and keep up to date on any changes, and if I catch any, I will make note of it here. Check local listings for specific times.
1: Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing (Saturday, December 5)
STORY: This is yet another title in the “Evergreen” series, this one focuses on the characters who have appeared in most, if not all, of these films, includingHolly Robinson Peete, Rukiya Bernard and Barbara Niven (“Chesapeake Shores”).
2: Christmas She Wrote (Sunday, December 6)

STORY: A romance writer (which fan favorite Danica McKellar plays) must deal with career woes just before Christmas only to have to meet up with the man responsible for this. In a fun co-star switch up, Dylan Neal (from the “Gourmet Detective” titles) returns to the network.
3: Love, Lights, Hanukkah! (Sunday, December 12)
STORY: Having been changed on the schedule, this one will follow a woman who discovers she has Jewish heritage. Mia Kirshner, Ben Savage (“Boy Meets World”) and Marilu Henner are set to star.
4: Christmas Comes Twice (Sunday, December 13)

STORY: Mowry-Housley plays a woman who regrets letting go of the man she loves, only to find a carousal that takes her back in time. Stars: Tamera Mowry-Housley (“A Christmas Miracle”) and Michael Xavier (“Paris, Wine and Romance”)
5: A Christmas Carousel (Saturday, December 19)
STORY: Another royal romance follows a woman hired to repair a carousel. Stars: Rachel Boston (“Check Inn to Christmas”) and Neal Bledsoe (“Shameless”)
6: Cross Country Christmas (Saturday, December 20)
STORY: Two people travelling back to their hometown for Christmas must work together to make it home during a snow storm! Stars: Rachael Leigh Cook (She’s All That) and Greyston Holt (“Chesapeake Shores”)
