A new month is creeping up on us and with this means that it’s time to have a look at the Hallmark October 2022 schedule. Like any year, they’re diving (FULL on) into Christmas movies which we all know isn’t my jam, but ready or not, it’s here.

Then they head right into Christmas romance movies, and not in a small way! In October alone, there is eight Christmas movie debuts, which doesn’t even account for all that is yet to come. Once Christmas movies begin this month, that’s all the network plays until the end of the year. So ready for the tinsel or not, Hallmark is spreading it everywhere. Let’s see what’s coming.
HALLMARK OCTOBER 2022 SCHEDULE
Hallmark does sometimes alter their schedule. While I do make every effort to be accurate of the dates of these premieres, sometimes things shift which will change or remove some titles from their lineup. I will try and keep up to date on any changes, and if I catch any, I will make note of it here. Check local listings for specific times.
CHESAPEAKE SHORES – SUNDAY NIGHTS
Chesapeake Shores will conclude its season and series finale on Sunday October 16th. Make sure to tune in to see how it all ends for the O’Brien family clan. Do you think the network will bring everyone back someday for a movie?
GIRLFRIENDSHIP – OCTOBER 1
Pretty sure this is a title that originally had another title that catered more to a summer title. However, Tamera Mowry-Housley stars in this about three friends who go on a birthday trip where their journey is an emotional discovery for them.
PUMPKIN EVERYTHING – OCTOBER 8
Before he heads to a Christmas original, Corey Sevier plays a man who reunites with Taylor Cole when she returns home to help her grandfather run his pumpkin store.
AUTUMN IN THE CITY – OCTOBER 15
Evan Roderick teams with Aimee Teegardan in this romantic drama about a woman who moves to the city in the hopes of finding her dreams, only to meet an aspiring writer who may help her to find it.
Countdown to Christmas begins
NOEL NEXT DOOR – OCTOBER 21
Natalie Hall follows a single mother who gets into a “war of words” with her neighbor. Only, of course, she may find her neighbor (played by Corey Sevier). Sounds like Jesse Metcalfe’s Christmas Next Door right?
WE WISH YOU A MARRIED CHRISTMAS – OCTBOBER 22
Marisol Nicholas was actually in one of the titles I thought was pretty good in 2021. This year she teams with fan favorite Kristoffer Polaha, an actor who’s movie usually premieres late in the season, to play a married couple who head to a Vermont Inn in the hopes of reconnecting.
A KISMET CHRISTMAS – OCTOBER 23
Carlos Marks headlines this film about a woman who returns to her hometown. A children’s author, she reconnects with her childhood crush.

Jodie Sweetin plays a real estate exec who travels to Alaska to acquire a bed and breakfast only once she arrives she discovers it’s owned by a familiar face – her ex!
JOLLY GOOD CHRISTMAS – OCTOBER 29
Will Kemp stars as an American who moves to London. Settling in as the Christmas season approaches means he needs to find the ideal gift, only he ends up having to hire a personal shopper! Royal Pains’ Reshma Shetty makes her Hallmark debut.
GHOST OF CHRISTMAS ALWAYS – OCTOBER 30
A Christmas present ghost is assigned one “soul” to help him rediscover his Christmas spirit.
HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES
Those who like more serious romance or just drama that isn’t all about cute romantics, you may like Hallmark’s sister network.
NICKI AND NORA: SISTER SLUETHS (OCTOBER 2): Love that Hallmark is producing a mystery. Not sure what this will be like, but it looks like it could be fun. Hunter King returns along with Rhiannoh Fish as the titular sisters.
PERFECT HARMONY (OCTOBER 16): James Denton leads the cast about two people who must get along for the sake of their mutual friend’s wedding.
WE NEED A LITTLE CHRISTMAS (OCTOBER 22): A single mother must find a way to comfort her child while a new neighbor enters her life. This cast will include Erica Durance, Lynn Whitfield and Patrick Sabongui.
CHRISTMAS BEDTIME STORIES (OCTOBER 29): Erin Cahill returns as a woman who, after living through her military husband being missing, starts telling bedtime stories to her daughter, all about her dad.
