8 OF THE AUTHORS I READ WHO WRITE INDIE NOVELS

There was a period of time, years ago, when I’d never read an indie novel. I don’t think there is a real reason for this, but the fact remains. However, some of my most favorite authors eventually published some of their novels as indie titles and as a result, I did read some of the books authors would publish or write as indie publications. Because of this (and of course, the topic), let’s see what authors I’ve read who have also written indie titles, and to be clear, not all of the indie books by these authors are titles I’ve read, but they are authors I’ve read something from.

    1. I think I started to read some because authors I’d read traditionally started publishing indie. There are, I am sure, SO many good indie books around. But I will confess, the traditionally published titles tend to catch more attention which probably leads me to pick those up first. :)

    1. I always “meet” so many new to me authors or books when I visit these lists every week. It can be nice, but I’m sure it grows some of our already overfull TBRs, too. ;)

    1. Kristen has published as trad and indie. I loved one of her BH books and then later read one she self-published that was also good. :) Hope you enjoy the one you have by her! :)

  1. I am just now diving into the Indie world. Susan May Warren is one of my favorite authors. I’m delighted that she is publishing her books independently. Here new series, The Hunt for Alan Martin, is amazing!! The final book in the series comes out in October and I can’t wait! Joanna Davidson Politano’s new series, The House at the Edge of the Cliff, is independently published. The first book, The Life She Forgot, was sooo good! Her second book in this series, When Winter Came to Dunn Cottage, comes out 9/29. I’m eagerly anticipating its release.
