Writing the 2026 designation for the year has me a little bit salty. I don’t know about you, but as far as I’m concerned, these years just keeping flying rapidly by. But this is beside the point. What I am sure you’re actually all here to know is more about the Hallmark January 2026 schedule. Or rather to be reminded of it since everyone but me shares the hot off the press information.

So let us present you with the first lineup from Hallmark this coming new year.
HALLMARK JANUARY 2026 SCHEDULE
LOST in PARADISE- JANUARY 3
Leading off the new block of programming during this Winter Escape will be Lacey Chabert teamed with Ian Harding. The movie will play with the stranded together rom-com trope as these two play characters who don’t get along right away but must learn to survive together.
Synopsis via Hallmark Media: When the founder of a high-end fashion company gets marooned on an “deserted” island with a chef, romance blossoms as they work together to survive.
A MELBOURNE MATCH – JANUARY 10
A film that its star serves as EP and writer on, Mallory Jansen leads this film that is about a travel writer who, while on assignment, finds love with a tour guide. There are also some social media indications that at least some of this did film on location.
Synopsis via Hallmark Media: Georgie, a travel writer, travels to Melbourne for an assignment where she meets Zach, an ex-Australian footballer who agrees to be her tour guide and shows her that there’s more to life than work.
LOVE on the AMAZON – JANUARY 17
Jaicy Elliot returns to Hallmark to lead this story about a woman trying to reach her sister who is on a research trip only for her to find something unexpected: love. This January 2026 title sounds like a (hopefully) fun one for Hallmark!
Synopsis via Hallmark Media: Claire travels to Brazil and hires Danny, a riverboat captain, to help her deliver an important message for her sister Amelia, a marine biologist studying pink dolphins on the Amazon River.
CAUGHT by LOVE – JANUARY 24
Making up for the fact that we didn’t see her in a Christmas movie, this one has Rachael Leigh Cook. She leads what sounds like possibly the most unique of the line up. This one gives a little Christmas Charade styling following a resort guest who gets caught up in an investigation involving stolen jewels.
Synopsis via Hallmark Media: While on a journey of self-discovery, a resort guest gets swept into an undercover investigation for stolen jewels that turns into an unexpected and adventurous romance.
MISSING the BOAT – JANUARY 31
Keeping with a trend Hallmark had in some Christmas flicks, this one will re-team two former co-stars (from 2016) in Kristoffer Polaha and Emilie Ullerup. They play cruise ship passengers who miss re-boarding. This then causes them race across Italy in the hopes of making the next port.
BONUS! WHEN CALLS the HEART – JANUARY 4
The beloved and by now long-running show, season thirteen, will be back on January 4th! The season will pick up in the aftermath of Elizabeth and Nathan leaving after she made the choice to leave in order to get her son Jack urgent medical care. Erin Krakow and Kevin McGarry will return to lead the ensemble cast.
Synopsis via Hallmark Media: In Season 13 of WHEN CALLS THE HEART, the town of Hope Valley comes together in the wake of a devastating wildfire. Schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton and Mountie Nathan Grant’s romance reaches new heights.
