HALLMARK OCTOBER 2023 SCHEDULE: GHOSTS AND GARLAND

Like any year, on the Hallmark October 2023 schedule, you’ll transition from autumn to Christmas. Yes, you read that right. This is the month where Hallmark forgoes ghosts for garland and breaks out all of the Christmas tunes.

We have two more autumn-esque stories, but seven (yes, I’m going to say this again, it’s too many) new Christmas movies ready to drop this month. In this line up of festive titles, you’ll see some familiar faces though the big favorites have their movies dropping later in the schedule. Until then, see what you can find on the network this month as their Countdown to Christmas plus their Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel, have new premieres.

HALLMARK OCTOBER 2023 SCHEDULE

3 BED, 2 BATH, 1 GHOST – OCTOBER 7

Julie Gonzalo returns to the network in this film that sounds like a kind of take on the comedy show Ghosts. It follows a woman who finds herself with a listing where the home is inhabited by a ghost from the 1920s. Chris McNally of When Calls the Heart will co-star.

FIELD DAY – OCTOBER 14

Rachel Boston headlines this about a mom who, along with two other mothers, must play the annual field day for their kids.

COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS begins

CHECKIN’ IT TWICE – OCTOBER 20

Kevin McGarry stars in this, the first of the 2023 season. He plays a “journeyman” hocky player who winds up falling for the real estate agent while living in a cottage her family owns.

WHERE ARE YOU CHRISTMAS – OCTOBER 21

Back to the network, Lyndsy Fonseca pairs up with Michael Rady in this film that does sound unique. Fonseca plays a woman who wishes for a year without Christmas only to find the world turns black and white.

UNDER THE CHRISTMAS SKY – OCTOBER 22

When her dreams of being an astronaut are sidelined, a woman starts to work at a planetarium where she pairs up with Ryan Paevey’s “by the book” character.

CHRISTMAS BY DESIGN – OCTOBER 27

Follows a fashion designer looking for inspiration to design her Christmas themed collection. Rebecca Dalton and Jonathan Keltz co-star.

MYSTIC CHRISTMAS – OCTOBER 28

This one has a synopsis that doesn’t tell much, but Jessy Schram plays a woman who travels to the “rehabilitation center and aquarium” to work where she meets Chandler Massey’s small business owner.

JOYEUX NOEL – OCTOBER 29

Co-workers are sent to France to uncover the mystery of a captivating painting. Brant Daugherty will return to the network in this film alongside last year’s Hallmark debut-er Jaicy Elliot.

HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES

Like every monthly schedule we put out, if you want something that’s less “fluff,” this side is your better bet. If the movie isn’t a mystery (which they do seem to be stepping away from), then it’s a more serious and even sometimes sad drama airing. This month they have something for everyone (mystery sequels) and will even air one Christmas movie.

A ZEST FOR DEATH: A HANNAH SWENSEN MYSTERY – OCTOBER 6

CURIOUS CATERER: FATAL VOWS – OCTOBER 13

MS. CHRISTMAS COMES TO TOWN – OCTOBER 26

Ok, now I want to hear from you! Which of these are you going to watch? Do any immediately stand out? Do they sound so-so? Are you like me, and think the Christmas lineups are “too big” now? Will you make time for these? Comment all of your thoughts below! Let’s meet in the comments.

Thank you for visiting; please come back again soon.
