‘ENOLA HOLMES 3’ CHASES THE MYSTERY OF LOVE
The third adaptation in the Netflix movies which the Nancy Springer novels inspires, Enola Holmes 3 is a fast-paced adventure sure to charm both new and returning viewers.
Enola Holmes 3 (2026) Netflix Film Review
Life is happy and even quite settled for Enola (Millie Bobby Brown). She has set up her detective agency, works on occasion with her brother, and though her name can be a disadvantage, Enola is determined to make a success outside of said famous brother. All is well in her life that includes a proposal from Lord Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge), a man who has taught her to love and that she can be loved. Thus Malta wedding plans get underway.
Her personal and professional life soon tangle when her brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill) suddenly goes missing which inspires Enola, her fiancé and Dr. Watson (Himesh Patel) on the trail of the great detective!

I think this is quite true because it also finds Enola in a more mature stage of life. It all works well because it does still provide us with plenty of heartwarming laughs and makes us laugh even with these darker themes. The story is so, in part, because we dig into the Moriarty lore.
All this to say, Enola Holmes 3 digs deeper into the emotional side of these relationships and the complications that these characters have. It’s all really very well done and sparks not just adventure but also joy in seeing Enola growing and accepting. Exciting and charming, this latest installment is, in a word, a winner.
Bottom line, this is unquestionably a good time. Like anything else in the world of these characters, there is plenty of adventure and fun and excitement. The movie is gorgeous to look at and though I cannot speak to how it adapts, this is entertaining as heck and if you thought Enola wielding a shotgun in a wedding dress seemed exciting, well, just wait until you see how everything goes down!

Content: this film rates PG-13, just like the other films. There is plenty of tense moments and “adventure,” which inevitably leads to some violence including hand to hand combat. Some characters are badly beaten up. There is some minor sensuality and other suggestive remarks, but it’s all very PG-13 without being “too much.”
