Summer will wind down in this eighth month of 2026, and yet we still read up on all of the summer-y books in this new August giveaway. Below you’ll find out the books you can add to your shelf if you are the random winner.

The book will be an e-book prize (unless otherwise noted) and is open to All READERS. *Please note, by entering, you are acknowledging that you can accept a Kindle / e-book prize (from Amazon or another online retailer). If you cannot accept a Kindle book, you august be disqualified.
By entering, you are acknowledging that you are over 18*, and that you are aware, I will contact you via the email address you provide in the widget form (below). (With your permission, this address will then be used to gift the book to you via Amazon.) *if you have a U.S. mailing address, you can have a physical book sent. *Or you must have a parent’s permission to provide a mailing address
Anyone who leaves a comment under “anonymous,” please leave the same name you enter into the widget in your comment (I ask this in consideration of fairness to everyone else, I want to be able to be sure everyone who uses the widget correctly has a fair chance at winning against those who abuse it – there have been a few people I could not verify).
The winner is by random selection (via Giveaway Tools); failure to complete the “tasks” does result in disqualification.

So many awesome new releases this month! I am really into reading suspense right now! I am currently reading The Parisian Assignment by Lisa Harris. It’s written in first person narrative, which really isn’t my favorite. But Lisa has hooked me in with her engaging writing, and I’m really enjoying this book.
That’s awesome that a novel with a writing style that isn’t a favorite can be written by a good author and enjoyed! I hope you continue to enjoy, Alison. :) And yay for a good mystery!
I am reading “The Alehouse Murders” by Maureen Ash; A new author for me. She writes medieval mysteries.
