9/11 2014: Remember and Never Forget

13 years ago, America changed in a way we never would have imagined. It’s 9/11 2014 and another year to remember.

Despite not having the best childhood memory, like most of us probably do, I still vividly remember this day. It’s was a day of horror, sorrow and devastation – a day etched in our memory unlike any other we’ve ever experienced. Despite the darkness that overshadows this day every year, I believe September 11th 2001 is a day to never be forgotten.

Thank you to those who serve to protect America both here and overseas.

Your sacrifice is never forgotten – thank you.

“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children.” – President George W. Bush, November 11, 2001

Remembering 9/11 2014 on this day to #NeverForget.

When the night / Seems to say

All hope is lost / Gone away

But I know / I’m not alone

By the light / She stands

There she waves
Faithful friend
Shimmering stars
Westward wind
Show the way
Carry me
To the place
She stands
