A Few of the Good Books In My Donation Box! New on Booktube

Many moons ago, or it feels that way, I started filming a kind a “series” on this website’s booktube channel that I put under the “books to unhaul” umbrella. There’s a video about books I’ve read that I’m unhauling, and books I’ve had forever that I’m 98% sure should be unhauled. In this latest edition, I go through a box of good books in my donation box. Or rather one of my five (or more) boxes of donation books.

Not only does this create more space on my shelf and in my house (since these boxes sit in offices, hallways, and pretty much everywhere I can stuff them without the problem of tripping over them), it also gives me  optimism that these books will find good new homes. While I haven’t read all of the books I’ve made the choice to donate, this doesn’t mean I might not like them if ever I were to take the time to read them, it just means they’re books that have been on my shelf for far too long. Plus, as we all know, I tend to add too many newbies to be shelf, hence the need for more shelf space.

If you’re curious what I did with these boxes (which I talk about in said video), I took them to the library in town which hosts an annual sale for donated books or books they no longer need in their library. I do also list some books online.

In today’s newly published video, I make a quick pass through my shelf, find a few more titles to add to the box of donation books to unhaul and I go through one box of books. With exception to most of the new books I pulled off my shelf, the entire box is already at the library where, hopefully the books have either been added to their shelves or are about to find new homes during the sale!

If you’d like to see the short little video, you can find it on Finding Wonderland’s channel today.
