MUSIC NEWS: POP STAR TAYLOR SWIFT ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF ‘EVERMORE’
Much like her one day to-do of folklore, just days before her 31st birthday, Taylor Swift announces she’ll release a ninth studio album because she just couldn’t “stop writing.” From the songbird herself, here’s what Taylor Swift Evermore, which she calls a “sister” album to folklore, promises to be.
To put it plainly, we just couldn’t stop writing songs. To try and put it more poetically, it feels like we were standing on the edge of the folklorian woods and had a choice: to turn and go back or to travel further into the forest of this music. We chose to wander deeper in. – Taylor Swift
She goes on to say “I’ve never done this before. In the past I’ve always treated albums as one-off eras and moved onto planning the next one after an album was released.”

Given the look of the artwork, and song track list (which will be an impressive 15 songs, and her exclusive online store edition will contain two bonus tracks), I suspect this is 100% near musical twins with folklore.

‘Willow’ is reportedly her first single off this effort and following it up, the album will drop at midnight (12.10.2020). So, yeah, like I said, I have a feeling this companion album will be quite similar to Swift’s previous 2020 effort. Oh! And she has confirmed she’s re-recording her prior albums, so… that’ll be interesting to hear those again.
