‘MEDDLING WITH MISTLETOE’ BRINGS READERS BACK TO PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
STORY: With her future on the line, Whitney Garrett has to find a solution to one very big problem. Her challenge is she needs a place to cook the pies she has to sell during the Christmas season in order to secure her culinary school tuition. She finds a solution trading some babysitting and assistance in the kitchen at the Red Door Inn for use of their impressive kitchen. What she doesn’t count on is Daniel, the nephew of a guest.
When his aunt enlists Whitney to help her in matchmaking Daniel with an ambitious businesswoman, Whitney begins to question if Ruby is the right woman for Daniel.
REVIEW: Another installment in the Red Door Inn books, this Christmas story is all festiveness and cheer. There’s lots in these pages sure to make any reader smile, and of course, we get a cute little romance that develops throughout the plot. There’s mistletoe, scheming (all the cute variety) that doesn’t scheme properly and some sense of nostalgia, too. The latter because anyone who has read The Red Door Inn gets a chance to catch up with the leading characters.
BOOK REVIEW | ‘THE SUMMER OF YES’ IS INDEED A SUMMERTIME NOVEL TO SAY “YES” TO!
‘MEDDLING WITH MISTLETOE’ BRINGS READERS BACK TO PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND. Liz Johnson returns readers to Prince Edward Island in #ChristmasBook. #ChristmasFiction Share on XNo stranger to this world of novel penning, Liz Johnson always crafts cozy and warm romance stories. Meddling with Mistletoe follows this same line. The story is, as its cover art would imply, all kindness and perfectly ideal. Between that mistletoe and the mention of cold snow, it’s sure to warm your heart. Plus is likely to make you want to pepper the air with warm spices by baking a pie all your own!
