The films may be few in number (thank goodness) but will probably also be a millennial lover’s dream. With popular teen stars featuring in the romance lead roles, this is sure to bring you back to the movies you once watched on repeat. Let’s see what’s coming – and when you can stream the movies!

Note: these films are from Netflix so if you don’t like anything outside of the content you’d see on Hallmark, most of these are probably a skip.

NETFLIX CHRISTMAS 2024 MOVIES

MEET ME NEXT CHRISTMAS

STORY: “On a quest to mee the man of her dreams, a hopeless romance races across New York City to find a ticket to a sold-out Pentatonix Christmas concert.” – Netflix

THOUGHTS: Christina Milian will star in this film that sounds to be all about romance and pursuing the person you feel is the one.

WHEN: You can stream Meet Me Next Christmas November 6

WHERE: Netflix

HOT FROSTY

STORY: A widow still suffering from the loss of her love is able to bring to life a snowman who helps her heal.

THOUGHTS: Favorite Lacey Chabert, who is no stranger to Christmas movies, will star in this as leading lady Cathy.

WHEN: You can stream Hot Frosty on November 14th

WHERE: Netflix

THE MERRY GENTLEMEN

STORY: “A big-city dancer who, to rescue her family’s venue in a small town, orchestrates an all-male holiday revue.” – Hybrid Productions

THOUGHTS: Seeing Chad Michael Murray strip (!!) in this one is likely going to be a film that many girls who grew up loving him in Freaky Friday, A Cinderella Story or Gilmore Girls will want to see, as he plays one of the males recruited for the all-male show. Britt Robertson will also star. Anyone else feeling 12 Dates of Christmas vibes for this title?

WHEN: You can stream The Merry Gentlemen on November 20th

WHERE: Netflix

OUR LITTLE SECRET

STORY: According to it its Netflix page, Our Little Secret is about a woman, Avery, who is “excited for her first Christmas with her boyfriend’s family – but shocked to discover her ex is part of the holiday festivities.”

THOUGHTS: Lindsay Lohan stars in this, a film rumored to be Lohan’s final film with Netflix (of a three-film deal), story that will have Christmas themes. The film is a comedy about a woman who has to spend time with her ex when they discover their respective current partners are siblings! Kristin Chenoweth, who has Christmas movies to her credit, will also star.

WHEN: You can stream Our Little Secret on November 27th

WHERE: Netflix

THAT CHRISTMAS

STORY: Entwined tales that involve Santa and various other characters come to life in this film.

THOUGHTS: This one is an animated film, so while it’s not that I wouldn’t watch something animated (I enjoy a fun movie in this genre now and then), it’s more that I likely won’t because there’s too many to keep up with!

WHEN: You can stream That Christmas on December 4

WHERE: Netflix

    1. I get a bit “cranky” about Christmas movies because I think we’ve reached a kind of oversaturation of the genre. BUT every year I watch some and every year there’s many I enjoy. :)
