‘THE SANTA CLASS’: A MOVIE THAT TEACHES HOW TO BE JOLLY!
Not totally a new concept, The Santa Class is still a jolly good time.
The Santa Class (2024) Hallmark TV Film Review
Planning to leave her father’s company and carve out a career of her own is in motion for Kate North (Kimberley Sustad). Her dad runs a school for Santa’s where they teach participants how to be the best Santa, whether that’s at the mall or for parties. Twelve years later, and Kate is still working for her dad. Now as he retires, she makes plans to perhaps finally follow her dream. But this year the academy is struggling and so when Dan (Benjamin Ayres) is fired from a rival school, it would seem teaming up together may be useful to them both.

‘THE SANTA CLASS’: A MOVIE THAT TEACHES HOW TO BE JOLLY! #KimberleySustad stars in #TheSantaClass. A #Hallmark review! #ChristmasMovie #ChristmasMovies Share on XIn recent years, Kimberley Sustad has earned fan accolades as a favorite leading lady. She started this as co-lead in The Nine Lives of Christmas before having a series of supporting roles. She again dominates the leading lady title in roles like The Real West, To All a Good Night, and now The Santa Class. In this she is the same but also playing a role many will relate to as someone wanting something new while feeling obligated to stay the same. She plays the role nicely, and fans will delight in one actor who shows up playing himself and the name drop of another.
While the whole Santa disaster or chaos trope isn’t new, having a school that teaches Santary (and yes I’m just making that up) is kind of fresh. It’s a fun concept and also ends in a way that while totally “seeable” isn’t how I had mapped it out in my head. The romance also goes a little more “all in” than some which I admire. While not a personal favorite, I can admit The Santa Class is cute. It has its merits and bottom line, also feels like one of the more unique titles from Hallmark’s 2024 lineup.
Watch for encore showings of The Santa Class on Hallmark Channel; or, at publication, find it streaming on Peacock (please note, Peacock usually only has these new titles for approximately a week after they air).

Content: Nothing to note outside of some kisses, some of which some may consider “passionate.” The film is definitely very TV-G (its rating) appropriate.
