Reporting hard-hitting serious news is what Adam Kade (B.J. Britt) builds his career on. His mindset is challenged when he meets Robbie, a ten-year-old who is not only a fan of Adam’s, but he also has a question for him; why not report on the happy news? This causes the ambitious Adam to reevaluate his approach and leads him to meet someone special, too.
Lucy (Tamera Mowry-Housley) is single and trying to raise her son well. But when she meets Adam, the relationship she never planned on may surprise her.

It packs a lot of sweet moments and festiveness into its story; both things that any avid Christmas movie fan wants their seasonal offerings to have.
The movie (like many peers) has another pro in its leading lady. A favorite for many and no stranger to TV, Tamera Mowry-Housley is, as always, her usual charming self. As for the co-star, if you saw the Groomsmen trilogy, Britt was one of the besties in that. All in all, there isn’t much to say about Tidings for the Season that no one else will or has said.
The film is worth watching if you love the genre or want a little trip of nostalgia which you’ll find thanks to the casting. Plus, Robbie (played by Elijah-Justus Lewis) is a cutie who helps make the film even more fun. All in all, the film is good and is bound to entertain all Christmas movie addicts.
