‘A SUITE HOLIDAY ROMANCE’ IS MORE LIKE OLD FASHIONED STORY WE LOVE

One of the final films from Hallmark in 2025, A Suite Holiday Romance is a sweet one.

A Suite Holiday Romance (2025) Hallmark TV Film Review

Falling into the cliche of a struggling writer isn’t something Sabrina Parker (Jessy Schram) plans on, but it’s her reality. She gets a job ghostwriting which is something she very much needs right now. Arriving at the Grand Fairbanks Hotel, Sabrina plans to work but promises to enjoy New York City during the Christmas season and in her down time, but she instead meets an unexpected companion.

Ian Turner (Dominic Sherwood) is a British visitor who she mistakes, unknown to him, for someone he isn’t. Still looking to live a magical week in this iconic hotel, any misconceptions there are linger.

This is one of those films that uses the same kind of tropes (the discovery is way too dramatic and unfounded) we have seen in many a peer film, but irrespective of this, it still has a sweet voice all its own. The New York setting isn’t a new atmosphere for this type of movie, but this one feels a little bit different and the stunning skyscapes and pretty twinkle lights set off just the right look in a production that has a nice cast.

Jessy has been in previous Hallmark films, and is also known to TV addicts from Chicago Med. Dominic Sherwood may be new to the Hallmark family, but he is a seasoned TV actor having starred in other roles. They have a nice connection and there are even articles talking about how they choregraphed the dance sequence. Plus this one wins in many of the romance-y cliches. All in all, I like everyone and the kind of quaint (even in the big city) moments between them.

If you like Christmas romance and city lights, A Suite Holiday Romance is an ideal watch certain to charm.

Stream, at publication (next day), the film exclusively with Hallmark+

Content: there is nothing to note. This is very much the typical TV-G rating Hallmark film.
