LACEY CHABERT LEADS ‘PARIS IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA’ ADAPTATION

Hallmark is padding its 2026 lineup following in the footsteps of announcements like their partnership with Disney for the upcoming Countdown to Christmas title Holiday Ever After (the current title) or its May release of Kentucky Roses, which is a film that is partnering with Churchill Downs. Now, the network lines up their next limited series, and it is an adaptation of Paris is Always a Good Idea. Details were just released today, so let’s see what we know about this one so far!

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT PARIS is ALWAYS a GOOD IDEA, the adaptation

WHAT is this one about

This is an adaptation of the novel by Jenn McKinlay, which is titled the same. The story is going to be “a new romantic adventure” that will follow a character named Chelsea who travels to Paris where her “confident rival-turned-ally, Jason Knightley” where they are trying to secure a donation for the nonprofit Chelsea is an executive for. The press release further reads that this “sends her on an unexpected journey to reconnect with the three great loves she once left behind. From the rolling hills of Ireland to the magic of Paris and the sun-kissed vineyards of Spain, Chelsea retraces old footsteps and discovers that sometimes moving forward means first looking back.”

This one is reportedly going to shoot on location in Paris and Spain.

WHEN will we see this

There is no release date as of yet, but the press release reads that this will premiere “later this year,” and if last year’s debuts are an indication (and this is just guess work on my part), we could see this one in the late summer, similar to the “event” series that was Providence Falls.

WHERE will we see this

Unlike Providence Falls which did make its debut on Hallmark Channel, this limited series (which is its description) will be an exclusive premiere on Hallmark+.

People was the first to report this news.
