Gilbert will “guest star, in a two-episode arc of When Calls the Heart […] She will appear in the role of Georgie McGill, who shares a surprising past with one special Hope Valley resident.”
STORY in general terms
This new season is, according to its promotional poster, set to dawn a “new golden era” that “love sparks.” According to the network’s press information, “love flourishes” as Elizabeth, our leading lady, and Mountie Nathan Grant embark on and “embrace the joy of new romance.” Of course, additionally, favorite characters like Rosemary, Billy, Lucas Bouchard, Lee and others also return as the normal community who “community comes together to celebrate and support each other through a season of discovering passions, leaps of faith…” The press release says, in part, the story will start out with “Change is in the air in Hope Valley. As Elizabeth starts the new school year, she receives a sentimental surprise, just in time to welcome her newest students […] Nathan (McGarry) trains Oliver Garrett (Jacob Shoemay), a new-to-town Mountie cadet.”

What are you excited about in this new season? Do you plan to watch this next season? Are you pleased to see all of the “whiplash” changes from season ten to eleven (and possibly twelfth too!)? Comment all of your thoughts below. Let’s talk.
Thank you for visiting; please return again soon.
When Calls the Heart is one of my favorite shows, and I’m so excited for the premier! We’re getting it so much earlier than usual! I hope that means more episodes than we’ve been getting lately. lol. I keep wanting Daniel Lissing to make a return (maybe he was presumed dead, but they misidentified the body and he’s had amnesia this whole time!), but I do love Elizabeth with Nathan as well.
Also… cross-posting my thank you for the books you sent me in case you don’t see it on my blog! I am so, so excited about these two books! I haven’t read Selling Out yet, but love this series so much. And I am so happy to have The Christmas You Found me for my shelves! I read a review e-copy and loved it, and now I can read it again! Thank you so much for your kindness. I hope you had a lovely Christmas, and wish you a happy new year!
I’m so glad!! I see so much chatter and excitement for WCTH on social media. I have only seen an episode here and there for the past several years. It was a show I watched faithfully for several seasons and then there were lots of changes (characters dying or leaving) and I guess I kind of lost interest. Keeping up with this one has been easy though because of that social media excitement. I’ve seen shows use the amnesia trope so I’d say bringing back Jack is possible! Did you see Erin and Daniel team up in the Christmas flick Santa Tell Me this year? I thought it was fun. :)
I’m so glad you received the books, Jana! Grateful you take the time to put together these lists and the Secret Santa too. I’m sure it’s a LOT of work and time and effort, but it’s always fun for those who join in. Happy reading – and hope your Christmas was merry. :)
Yes, I loved Santa, Tell Me! It was one of my favorite Hallmark Christmas movies this past holiday season. :) Thank you for your kind words, and for always supporting TTT!
I appreciate you continuing to host TTT. :) I know life is busy and sometimes we have to let certain things go, but for as long as you’re able to host, we appreciate it. :)
YAY! I’m so glad you enjoyed “Santa tell Me.” I thought it was cute although the competing Nick’s did get a little silly. ;)
