THE BOOKS I WAS READING OVER THESE LAST TEN YEARS
Creative and fun, this topic took a little bit more research (of a sort) in order to find ten titles to fit. More so since I am notorious for not tracking books while reading them on places like Goodreads. So, this is more of a portrait of books I was reading in the last ten years rather than books I read on this day in the past ten years.

Honestly, my Goodreads is a mess! I used to be really good about keeping it current, at least in some minor semblance, but haven’t kept it up for years. Looking into this did “force” me to add some of my more recent (if 2019 is considered recent) reads, so I guess there is that, too. Let us take a closer look at some of these, and if I remember or have it recorded, I will also share if I enjoyed them.

I’m not sure that I actually read this in August of 2016, but the GR data says it was added then. It also did publish in August and if I read it as a review tour (which I may have), I probably was reading it around this time – ten years ago! Gosh, I’m old. Goodreads

I feel like 2018 or maybe 2019 was the start of me reading very little, which meant I have very few books recorded. Prior to that, I never had a lot of books to begin with in any one year because I wasn’t an read 10+ books in a month reader. But this is one I was reading in July of 2019 and while I thought I really enjoyed it, I only gave it three stars which for me typically means I liked some things but there were other elements that required one less star. Either way, I still think the cover is cute! Goodreads

2026 reading
I’m still not reading a lot, but I did just finished Little House on the Prairie (because of the Netflix show) and Good Girl, Bad Blood, and also do really want to read The Bodyguard by Katherine Center because there is a film adaptation set to release this year.

The Bookish Life of Nina Hill has always been on my watch list. I should move it up!
I thought I really liked it but I didn’t give it a four star so there must have been a few things I didn’t love. Either way, I like that look and its title, too. :)

I do! I feel like I used to be WAY more into keeping track. Now, I just feel good if I read a book and enjoy it. :)
I have A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder on my own TBR. Besides that, I have heard of Kiera Cass’s book but the rest are new to me!

I cannot remember the “why” of the lower star, but the cover and title are certainly fun. :)
I read Without Warning recently-ish (I think last year). And, looking at my Goodreads, I apparently no longer want to read Acceptable Risk (I am pretty sure it was on my want to read forever). But, things change and now I don’t remember why I didn’t want to read it, LOL! Have a great week!
I haven’t read a novel by Lynette in SO long but I did enjoy so many of them at one time. I may pick up one of her more recent ones at some point but we’ll see. :)
I haven’t tried her newest series that just released, but I have enjoyed her other newer stuff.
That’s good to know! I think I have a couple of her books from an earlier series that I never read, but by now is probably considered “old.” ;)
The only one on your list I’ve read is The Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. I’ve also read a few Kiera Cass books but not this particular one. The Bookish Life of Nina Hill looks good, I’m easily taken in by bookish books!

I liked AGGGTM! It’s kind of like a modern Nancy Drew-ish mystery. :)
