MARCUS ROSNER: THE HALLMARK MOVIES (AND MORE!) YOU KNOW HIM FROM
Like last week, the publication today is to feature another fan favorite Hallstar with a list of Hallmark movies (plus more) that you can see Marcus Rosner in. The actor has a prolific Hallmark career, yes, but he also has quite a few roles from other titles, too – including a role in a recent season of a popular Canadian TV show!
ABOUT MARCUS ROSNER
Rosner is an actor from British Columbia Canada who has directing and producer credits to his name as well as many acting gigs. In addition to serving as producer in some of the sweet rom-coms he’s starred in, Rosner also has a few producing credits for roles he hasn’t acted in. His first credited role is guest-starring in The Secret Circle before he would also guest in shows like Continuum, Rush and Once Upon a Time. His first credited role in a Hallmark title is a Garage Sale Mystery! After that, he would appear in many Hallmark titles, but not as the leading man.

Synopsis: Jennifer Shannon has an eye for antiques and a mind for solving mysteries. When she buys a storage unit at auction, she has no idea she’s opening the door to murder, and realizes the killer is after something inside. – via Hallmark+

WHEN CALLS the HEART, 2015
In 2015, Rosner had a seven-episode stint in Hallmark’s most popular TV series. If I had to guess, I would say that I was faithfully watching the show when Rosner had his episode run. However, I don’t remember his character or what type of character he plays.
Synopsis: Elizabeth Thatcher, a cultured young teacher in 1910 leaves her comfortable world in the city and accepts a teaching position in a frontier town. – via Hallmark+
YES, I DO, 2018
I don’t think this film is well liked, but based on my limited remembrance of it, I quite liked it. It’s a bit different (for the average TV film) and because of this, it has a different but still entertaining energy which I always love that. The plot is about a bride who leaves her groom at the altar twice, but love isn’t the problem so now she has to prove this to him. Roser co-stars with Jen Lilley (both pictured below) in this cute rom-com. As a side note, writing this is making me curious to rewatch Yes, I Do and see if I still would enjoy it!

Synopsis: Busy chocolatier, Charlotte has left helicopter mechanic, James, at the altar two times and now she needs to prove to him that she really does want to marry him. – via Hallmark+
LOVE on HARBOR ISLAND, 2020
If I remember right, this was an acquisition title for Hallmark. It was more entertaining than I had expected, and looking back, it’s fun to note that Rosner’s co-star was Morgan Kohan with whom he co-starred with in the last season of Sullivan’s Crossing. So yeah, fun!
Synopsis: Interior designer Lily returns home to help her Aunt Maggie run her marina-side bed and breakfast when she meets Marcus, a handsome seaplane pilot. – via Hallmark+
RIDE, 2023
This family drama only had one season of ten episodes, but Rosner only starred in six episodes. The show was pretty good though I don’t remember all of the details of the family or how the dynamics all came to be.
Synopsis: Ride follows a tight-knit Colorado ranching family as each member embarks on their own empowering journey of healing and self-discovery after a tragic loss. – via Hallmark+
LOVE on the RIGHT COURSE, 2024
Synopsis: A professional golfer suffers a series of setbacks and returns home to Budapest to reevaluate her future in the sport. While there, a golf pro helps her rediscover herself and find love. – via Hallmark+
THE LOVE CLUB: NICOLE’S PEN PAL, 2023
Synopsis: Freshly engaged Nicole is having second thoughts as she wonders if the one she’s really meant to be with is her mystery college pen pal whose letters she has kept all these years. – via Hallmark+
SNOWBOUND for the HOLIDAYS, 2026
His latest movie is about to debut tonight on the network. The film seems to be full of snowfall and other signature Christmas movie things, so if you are loving Christmas in July, considering making time to enjoy this title new to Hallmark movie!
Synopsis: Hotel manager Cassidy Evergreen evaluates a cozy ski lodge, but Christmas magic and its charming owner, Trey Sanderson, turn a simple assignment into a heartfelt choice between duty and love. – via HallmarkChannel.com
This will debut tonight on Hallmark Channel and will stream next-day on Hallmark+
Likely the actor will appear in other Hallmark titles in the future, but as there is no conformation of this, I won’t add any “coming soon” title!

Rosner came into season four of this Canadian drama, and his arrival caused, well, problems! He plays the ex of Morgan Kohan’s Maggie which naturally shakes things up between her and her lover, Cal. I didn’t watch the season (I saw episode one) nor have I seen prior seasons, but teaser clips on social media feel like “enough” to know there was a lot of back and forth!
