Finally Fall Book Tag 2017

In Finding Wonderland’s history, I’m not sure I’ve ever put together so many bookish tags. *thinks* *ponders blog’s archives*    Well, alright. Perhaps I did back when I began blogging in 2011 because, when you’re a newbie blogger tags are a. way too
much fun and b. I came into the medium when certain tags were uber popular.

Since I’ve starting a booktube channel for Finding Wonderland, I’ve reverted back to the days of the book tag, at least for now.
Why, you ask? Well as I did with my blog, in order to get the channel started and growing, I’m joining bunches of tags. Since I’m such a book nerd, I’m carrying over that fun to Finding Wonderland by splitting the tags up. Today, we’re joining in on the FINALLY FALL BOOK TAG, which is a new tag I hadn’t seen before, and since it looked fun, this pile of bookish leaves was too tempting to ignore.

3. Fall is back to school season: share a non-fiction book that taught you something new

Honestly, I don’t read non-fiction books. It’s not that I don’t believe there are some good ones out there, it’s simply that I’m too preoccupied with fictional realms – plus the beauty of fiction is to let us escape the busyness or hum-drum of everyday living.

5. The colorful leaves are piling up on the ground: show us a pile of fall-colored spines!

6. Fall is the perfect time for some storytelling by the fireside: share a book wherein somebody is telling
a story

Much as I’ve wracked my brain, I cannot think of a novel that adopts this style of prose. I know there are many
out there but I’ve either not read them, or their presence escapes me. The one story I can think of is Ever After and
it’s not a book.

What are some of the books you’ve read told in this style?

8. The days are getting colder: name a short, heartwarming read that could warm up somebody’s cold and
rainy day

Oo, do I have a good answer for this one. The Drew Farthering Mysteries by Julianna Deering. I dare you not to fall for Drew.

10. Fall is the perfect time for cozy reading nights: share your favorite cozy reading “accessories”!

To be honest, I don’t really have any fall reading accessories. A hot drink (while reading) isn’t my usual habit (that I have while doing my morning/afternoon writing, blogging and/or social media work) nor is a bookmark! (I’m all about the high tech and use a paper clip.) So long as I have my book and if there’s a particular chill in the air, a throw blanket, I’m a happy girl.

11. Spread the autumn appreciation and tag some people!

Done. ✓ BookMonsters11, Brittaney, Kayleigh, Lindsey (of BFCG), Melanie and Shantelle. Feel free to join in yourself. If you do, circle back and let me know where you posted.
