In the days after Christmas, life resumes some sense of normalcy, but right around the corner waits the start of a New Year! If the fact that Christmas Day 2019 is now come and gone amazes me, now the fact that the start of 2020 (and a new decade) is upon us, astonishes me. Yet here we are, ready to ring in a New Year 2020.

2019, and this past decade, has been full of ups and downs. This might be true for some of us on a world stage, and I suspect, for many of us personally. As I look back, I want to remember all of the good times the past ten years brought; and thankfully, for my family, there have been many of those. It’s these moments that we remember with joy, and as we enter a New Year, I’m hopeful these 365 days will bring many more such days.
As we reflect back on this past year, I hope you too can remember good times and smile at some of the moments captured in these memories.
I’ve got my one-dollar glitter-y “happy new year” with stars headband on, along with a cozy sweatshirt, because, let’s be real, this headband is as fancy as I get. Now I’m ready to enjoy some junk food (because we have to once in a while, right?), settle in, watch some movies, drink some sparkling juice and ring in all this newness!
