‘Royally Yours’ – All of the Sweet Fairy Tale Romance
Royally Yours | Book Review
by Melissa Tagg, Betsy St. Amant, Liz Johnson and Ashley Clark
STORY | A collection of four novellas, each one follows a royal who’s trying to find a place away from scrutiny and the media. They all find this in Tinsel Vermont. In their stories, we meet…
…In One Royal Christmas by Melissa Tagg, Jonah, a royal weary of the scrutiny and complicated state of his feelings about being king. He finds some peace and quiet in Tinsel where he also meets the librarian, Rowan Bell, a woman who may alter his entire future.
…In The Reluctant Princess by Betsy St. Amant, princess Eleanor hides from protocol – and the anticipated duties that come with this, when she arrives in Tinsel. There she falls for the man hired as her chauffer, all while unaware he too has some cuts in need of healing.
BOOK REVIEW | ‘The Solid Grounds Coffee Company’ is the End of a Unique Trio
…In A Royal Wonderland by Liz Johnson, Andrew Tennesley is trying to hide from a very public breakup. The royal escapes his life for quieter places and discovers the unexpected entrance into his life that is a pretty hardware store owner, Charlotte Hudson.
…In A Tinsel Holiday by Ashley Clark we meet Princess Beatrix, a woman who’s already met the man of her dreams. Trouble is, that was two years ago and their one day together does not a match make. When she unexpectedly meets him again, she discovers that his interest may not be as honest as she thinks.
REVIEW | Written by four authors, each with varying numbers of novels or novellas to their credit, Royally Yours may be a collection that is set in the winter months, but it’s perfect no matter the season if you’re a fan of sweet romance. There’s plenty to love about this quartet of novellas, and the characters make it easier to enjoy.
FILM REVIEW | Letters to Juliet (2010) – Old-Fashioned Storytelling at its Finest
There’s so many fun tropes in these stories. From love-at-first-sight to mistaken identities to a Roman Holiday-esque plot (A Tinsel Holiday), there is something to suit everyone’s romance reader likes. Each story is a sweet treat, but I must confess to having a weak spot for Andrew and Charlotte, and of course, Melissa’s stories are always gems (and I mean, really, guys, the heroine is a librarian and the hero a prince! That’s a romantic bookworm’s dream, right?).
If you’re a fan of anything by these authors or clean romance, you’ll swoon over these four royal romance stories. They’re charming, engaging and all around, lovely reads to enjoy no matter the season or as a little “pick-me-up” when you’re feeling a bit down. Let the stories of these reluctant, romantic and runaway royals take you to Tinsel Vermont in these charming Royally Yours stories.
