This title anniversary of a 2002 flick. Of course, because of this entertainment milestone we must put together a random little Maid in Manhattan movie quiz. The plot follows a plucky divorced mother working as a maid. When a game of make believe introduces her to the wealthy and political hopeful, Chris Marshall, they meet when she’s someone she isn’t. Despite the best of intentions and common sense, she allows the fairy tale to move forward only for questions to soon arise as to who she is.
Another example of the cute romantic comedies that Hollywood doesn’t make anymore, Maid in Manhattan is something I don’t watch often though the reason why sometimes escapes me. But it’s cute and fun and entertaining. As a result of this all, we celebrate it today – despite it making me feel old.
