With only an expensive watch and a wedding band as clues, Jonah remembers nothing. Not even his name. But even in pain and finding his hostess a little hostile, somehow the pair make their unexpected roommate scenario work. And through all of this, the question remains, who is Jonah really?

REVIEW | The latest release from Becky Wade, and anyone who’s been around this space for a period knows how fond I am of her novels, is another page-turner. Each one she puts out presents that quintessential romance story that digs deeper yet still offers happy feels. This novel follows in these same footsteps. The book has a charming character duo who are isolated (mostly) for a portion of the novel, but not as long as I anticipated them being.

Remy has secrets. Jonah has secrets. Throughout we wonder and ponder what they are. Then after two or three chapters, we skip to another characters which makes us question, how does this person relate? Of course, everything eventually stitches together to tie together a complete story. It’s just the “getting there” part may baffle readers some in what is actually, a little mystery. I will say, the book is the same but also feels a little different than some of the author’s prior work.

With a story that moves along swiftly, and two characters who come to recognize there’s more to each other, Memory Lane is another lovely read from Warren. It has heart, soul, and great joy, all of which are attributes I appreciate in any memorable reading experience.

Content: there is discussion about a sexual assault, memories from that and its impact. If it bothers you, this novel does the terms sexual tension to describe attraction and there is some kissing. There’s also talk of extra-marital affairs and even the implication that a married woman shares an ongoing flirtation with another marriage man.
