The Christmas movie season is fully in swing and Hallmark’s second of 2024 has its heroines playing holiday crashers in a film that is cuter than normal.
Holiday Crashers (2024) TV Film Review
Space is something Antonia aka Toni (Lyndsy Fonseca) is taking. She worked hard to go through law school and was crushing the bar exam. Then panic set in, and she questions, does she want this? This is why now she’s working at a print shop with her bestie Bri (Daniella Monet). When Bri decides they’re going to do something crazy this year, Toni is drawn into crashing the parties on the invitations they print. Reluctant, Toni goes along and she actually has fun, a concept she forgets.
Trouble is, the silly and frivolous lies Toni and Bri spin while hobnobbing with the wealthy gets her into trouble, especially when she meets Justin (Chris McNally).

When browsing research headlines for the weekly pop culture roundup, one I saw recommended Holiday Crashes as the one weekend Christmas flick to make time for. The only other one I saw during the weekend is Twas the Date Before Christmas, but I’d 100% agree. This one is great fun. It’s also surprisingly unique, and leans into (as is the trend now) themes of loneliness and questions what to do in life. Both feelings I suspect are cultural themes which is why they play as important in scripts.
Lyndsy Fonseca is someone I met as a performer in a TV show years ago, and since then I’ve enjoyed seeing her play in these roles. She does them well and I like how she plays them. Hallmark fans will also love seeing Chris McNally in leading man role. They’re cute together and I appreciate that, even as some of the characters are professionally lost, there is confessions about having interest in someone.
The best friend story is also central and important, and like many peers, we get to see the characters finding what they’re good at which is inspirational. If you enjoy the genre, Holiday Crashers is one film I easily recommend.
