HALLMARK AUGUST 2025 SCHEDULE: THE SUMMER NIGHTS MAKE A RETURN!
Summertime is back on Hallmark and with it comes a hyped movie adaptation trilogy plus some, presumably, cute rom-coms, too. From ice cream to time travel, and yes, a mystery or two (plus, a network premiere for a cult classic favorite show), let’s highlight the Hallmark August 2025 Schedule.

So, consider my interest and curiosity piqued by this alone. Let’s get busy and share what you’ll see coming to Hallmark this August! HALLMARK AUGUST 2025 SCHEDULE
PROVIDENCE FALLS: CHANCE of a LIFETIME – AUGUST 2
This is part one of a much-hyped trilogy set to debut on the network. The series is inspired by a book series by Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets. The story involves time travel and a man who finds his true love again only she doesn’t know who he is. Described as “special event,” I’m assuming this one will tell its story in the three parts (which will air on three consecutive Saturday nights), I’m curious to see what a period drama (or partially) will look like from Hallmark. This trilogy event will star Lachlan Quarmby, Katie Stevens, and Evan Roderick.
Story: Newbie police detective, Cora, is partnered with visiting detective, Liam, on her first case. Little does she know, Liam is her reincarnated love here to change her fate. – Hallmark Media
AURORA TEAGARDEN MYSTERIES: DEATH at the DINER – AUGUST 3
The “Hallmark Mystery” titles have been debuting on Hallmark Channel and there are consistent rumors that the Mystery channel is about to end. (Typically these still get an air date on the Mystery side, it’s just later on.) Once a Hallmark+ original, the network is going to debut its last ‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries’ title which is the “reboot” of the series that recounts the life of Aurora during her college years.
Story: When the owner of the diner where Aurora Teagarden works is suddenly killed, her new boyfriend becomes the primary suspect! – Hallmark Media

PROVIDENCE FALLS: AN IMPOSSIBLE PROMISE – AUGUST 9
Part two sees us return to Providence Falls where a murder is in need of solving and Liam tries to push Cora, no matter how much he loves her, towards Finn believing him to be who Cora is meant to be with.
THE CHICKEN SISTERS, SEASON TWO – AUGUST 10
Arriving this month is season two of The Chicken Sisters. The show has gotten very little press (so far) which means we don’t know a lot about this season aside from what was reported prior to now. David James Elliot is set to be a new face appearing alongside season one stars Schuyler Fisk, Genevieve Angelson, Lea Thompson and Wendie Malick.
The press for this one is starting to trickle out and the first episode logline reads as follow; “with their two restaurants finally united as THE CHICKEN SISTERS, Gus, Nancy, Amanda, and Mae are thriving…until Ultimate Kitchen Clash premieres.”
PROVIDENCE FALLS: THIEF of FATE – AUGUST 16
The third part reads as being about “angels” who Cora and Liam “rebel” against in order to make their own fate and take control of their own lives.
MYSTERY ISLAND: PLAY for KEEPS – AUGUST 17
Our favorite mystery island hosts return this month after the removal of this title a few weeks ago! In this adventure Emilia’s ex makes a return to her life which, I am sure, will complicate things for a possible love story between her and Jason. Elizabeth Henstridge and Charlie Weber return.
Story: Mystery Island hosts a corporate retreat with a guest being Emilia’s ex-fiancé. Old feelings become complicated, tensions run high, and allegations arise when a guest is found dead. – Hallmark Media
DOUBLE SCOOP – AUGUST 23
This one will pair up Taylor Cole and Ryan McPartlin in a story about ice cream. The plot is about competition between a woman trying to land a new client and her former “colleague” who makes similar plans!
Story: Nora discovers the best ice cream and hopes to land them as a client. Her sweet dreams hit a snag when her former colleague James has the same idea. Old sparks begin to melt the frosty tension. – Hallmark Channel
CATCH of the DAY – AUGUST 30
Originally under a different title, this summer-y film sees a woman, on the precipice of professional success, return to her hometown in order to help her family where Cam, her former crush, also lives. This one will feature Chesapeake Shores star Emilie Ullerup and then Hallmark favorite (but we haven’t seen him for a while now) Michael Rady.
Story: On the eve of becoming a NY executive chef, Sophie returns home to help her family’s flailing restaurant and runs into Cam, an old crush who makes her question everything. – Hallmark Channel
ALSO ARRIVING on HALLMARK CHANNEL in AUGUST
GILMORE GIRLS – begins AUGUST 25
Beginning August 25 with “Episodes to Air Weekdays From 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. And 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Weekends,” the Hallmark Channel will debut Gilmore Girls. A cult classic from the early 2000s, the show follows a close-knit mother and daughter as they find their footing with Lorelai’s wealthy and more rigid parents and their various loves as daughter Rory is on the fast track to a prestigious collegiate career.
Story: Did someone say cozy, small town charm? Beginning August 25, pop culture sensation Gilmore Girls joins the Hallmark Channel lineup. Just in time for the fall, the Gilmore family and the beloved residents of Stars Hollow will add twice the warmth and joy to Hallmark Channel’s widely adored slate of heartfelt programming. – Hallmark Media Press Release
