Time and again we say it here, and today we say it again, 2025 is a big year for Austen – and the fans of the beloved British author. She has a big birthday and some of the most iconic films adapting her works are hitting some milestones. This means we have a good excuse to feature these things, in part, with some giveaways. One of these begins today as the cult classic flick Clueless hits that 30 year anniversary. Let’s the fun little Jane Austen giveaway aka Clueless movie giveaway begin.

Set in high school, the film has Alicia Silverstone playing Cher, the popular girl in school who assumes everyone can benefit from her help. No one but her almost stepbro really questions her, and so she sets out to redo the new girl. The film has lots of quotable moments and entertaining scenes that are, by now, iconic film scenes.
JANE AUSTEN GIVEAWAY: CLUELESS
Here’s what you can win if you enter this, the first of the Jane Austen-esque giveaways hosted here! (Watch for future ones in the coming weeks.) This giveaway will include books (of course!) and items from various Etsy shops.

> Novel by Debra White Smith, Amanda (the reprint), an adult contemporary inspired by Austen’s Emma.
> A trio of magnetic Clueless (characters, the three friends) bookmarks
> A small group of stickers (fitting the theme of this giveaway) by Etsy artists
> One small pop art-like print inspired by Clueless from an Etsy artist; the “Fine Art Print” is on 80lb. “premium paper”

I have loved Jane Austen from my first introduction to her. I try and collect all copies of her books.
That’s SO fun, Audrey! If I really like a book and a release with a new cover is issued, I often want to (and sometimes do!) buy it too. :)
I enjoy reading her Pride and Prejudice book.
Despite seeing SO many Pride and Prejudice adaptations, I never read the book. It’s still one of my book goals though. :)
