‘UNWRAPPING CHRISTMAS: TINA’S MIRACLE’: A BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP TURNS PERSONAL
Part of last year’s fleeting Hallmark+ exclusives, Unwrapping Christmas: Tina’s Miracle makes its network debut today, and so we’re unwrapping this first in a group of four titles.
Unwrapping Christmas: Tina’s Miracle (2024) Hallmark+ Review
Owning a gift wrapping company has its ups and downs, and keeps her busy. But it’s her latest job that Tina (Natalie Hall) wants to successfully accomplish. This year, she’s in charge of putting on a gala (along with her business partners) and everything has to go smoothly. Only thing is, she hits a bit of a snag with her venue. This forces her to look for help in unexpected places.
Enter Michael Alonzo (Alec Santos), a man who Tina comes to like, but while planning the annual gala, she learns that he was part of the team that sold the estate. Thing is, Michael, according to Tina is a bit of a scrooge, and convincing him that this estate, the traditional location, is ideal becomes her goal.

I didn’t catch these back when they made a debut on Hallmark+, but they are, I am sure, titles that have charm and cuteness like any other on this network. This one starts off by introducing us to the friends who will each get their own lead story in the following three films. But Natalie Hall kicks things off playing Tina, a woman who develops a kind of love-then-disappointment-then-love romance with Santos’ Michael. If you think Santos looks familiar, it’s probably because he just featured in Hallmark Channel’s last new debut A Machu Picchu Proposal.
Unwrapping Christmas: Tina’s Miracle is a 90 minute film, like so many before (and probably after) it, is one of those “it’s just fine” stories that will make you smile. There is plenty to cheer for and on, and of course, there are the usual moments that make the movie sparkle in an appropriate Christmas-y way. Some of the “cues” or dialogue is off or sometimes is misplaced, but this is, of course, being super particular. Mostly this film is sweet and that’s probably what most of us are looking for.
If you want to watch something at the end of a fun-filled Saturday doing all the things, while the lightning bugs play outside, enjoy the cooler indoor air and maybe enjoy this Christmas in July network debut.
