COMING TO ACORN TV JUNE 2026: SEE THE HIGHLIGHTS
The new month of June is starting (or nearly) and so, we are going to take a look at the sixth month of 2026 titles dropping to a favorite streaming service which is, Acorn TV. Home to countless of my favorite international mysteries, the shows not only boast good stories, but many times stunning views too. Most of the drops this month are shows that have already started their run, but there is so much good even if new premieres aren’t dropping. New episodes should not be discounted!

ACORN TV JUNE 2026 SCHEDULE
YOU’RE KILLING ME, june 1
Episodes drop on Mondays through June 22 (the series finale)
This show is an Acorn TV original. It’s also quite charming and delightful, and features Brooke Shields in the role of best-selling author who ends up solving the murder of her friend alongside aspiring writer and podcaster Andi.
Boasting a great and even, dare I say, charismatic, cast this one also has a fun cultural clash as Shields’ Allie and Andie (played by Amalia Williamson) struggle through the generation gap. Of course, no cozy mystery show is complete without a detective which we meet in Tom Cavanagh’s Jack. Unlike most Acorn TV series, You’re Killing Me is set in the US in a small New England town.

Synopsis Episode 3, “The Copycat”
A copycat killer stalks Founders Cove, mimicking murders from Allie’s books. As fear grips the town, Allie, Andi, and Jack race to catch the killer before he or she strikes again. – via Acorn TV
SUMMERWATER, june 1
Episodes drop Mondays through June 29 (the series finale)
Series Synopsis: Based on Sarah Moss’s best-seller and set against Scottish loch-side cabins, the residents of Summerwater attempt to escape life’s problems in the serenity of isolation. However, far from a relaxing retreat, it turns out to be a mysterious all-knowing place where residents are confronted with their deepest desires and darkest truths. Starring Dougray Scott (The Crow Girl), Valene Kane (Gangs of London) and Anna Próchniak (Showtrial). – via Acorn TV
Synopsis Episode 2, “The Lovers”
Under the watchful eyes of their Summerwater neighbors, the Campbells struggle to accept their future, causing David to have a moment of weakness. Next door, Millie and Josh desperately try to avoid a similar fate. – via Acorn TV
MURCHOCH MYSTERIES, june 1
Episodes drop Mondays throughout June
An Acorn TV exclusive, this nineteenth season is the latest to make its way to the US in the long-running Canadian procedural. Set in the 1900s, the show follows the inventive and clever William Murdoch as he solves crimes with methods well ahead of his time.
Synopsis Episode 14, “Game, Set, Murdoch”
A “battle of the sexes” tennis match is disrupted when the woman playing is injured, and Chief Constable Brackenreid discovers it was deliberate sabotage. – via Acorn TV
THE LAST ANNIVERSARY, june 15
This is a binge release drop
This is one I watched an episode or two back when it was on AMC, but I didn’t finish it because I don’t regularly have the (AMC+) streamer.
However, now it’s on Acorn TV (and it will release as a binge on June 15), I may finally finish it. The story follows a woman (played by Teresa Palmer) as she is drawn into a “complex web of family secrets.” It seems like it may be a good show and one that creates an interesting mystery story.
Synopsis: In this twisty adaptation of the #1 New York Times best-selling novel, a young woman (Teresa Palmer, A Discovery of Witches) finds herself drawn into a complex web of family secrets. Also features Miranda Richardson (Sleepy Hollow, Good Omens, Girlfriends), Helen Thomson (Elvis, The Heart Guy), and Jeremy Lindsay Taylor (The Claremont Murders, Home and Away). Executive Produced by Nicole Kidman (Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Scarpetta). – via Acorn TV
HARRY WILD, june 22
Episodes drop Mondays starting June 22, and will run through July
The newest season of this wonderfully cozy mystery will drop its first episode on the 22nd of June. Jane Seymour will return as the titular character, a retired professor who, along with her partner Fergus and (nearly always) reluctant help of her detective son, winds up solving a wide array of curious cases.

For those into pop culture references and trivia, this season will reunite Seymour and Joe Lando (pictured above with Jane Seymour), the former co-stars from the fan favorite Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.
Synopsis: Harry (Jane Seymour), Fergus (Rohan Nedd), and Charlie (Kevin Ryan) are pulled into their most dangerous and complex cases yet. With the help of new pathologist Pierce Kennedy (Joe Lando), the team take on undercover operations, chilling murders, and relentless criminals who push them to the edge. – via Acorn TV
Synopsis Episode 1, “Sing Me a Deadly Song, Piano Man”
Pathologist Pierce links a string of seemingly accidental deaths through cryptic music tattoos. – via Acorn TV
Stream, at publication, these episodes / titles the day of their respective streaming release exclusively on Acorn TV
