‘HARRY WILD’ SERIES FOUR SPECIAL ISSUES A WEDDING INVITATION!
It may only be for a onetime special, but honestly, the fact that series four of Harry Wild makes a brief 2025 return is a happy day indeed. In this episode, which is billed as a special, we catch up with Harry (Jane Seymour) as she attends the wedding of Vicky and Cormac, Guard colleagues. At this, what should be a very happy occasion, an assassination attempt causes Harry to tangle with a case from across the pond.
Meanwhile, the gang is undergoing some personal change. Harry has some romantic doubts; there is some empty nest syndrome elsewhere; and Fergus (Rohan Nedd), well he has a regret to think about. Everyone set these things aside while this challenging case brings into their lives not just the FBI but also a dangerous enemy.
TV SERIES REVIEW | ‘THE CHELSEA DETECTIVE’ CHRISTMAS SPECIAL: SEASON THREE
‘HARRY WILD’ SERIES FOUR SPECIAL ISSUES A WEDDING INVITATION! #AcornTV cordially invites you to a wedding… and assassination? Don’t miss the latest #HarryWild episode! Share on XBilled as part of Harry Wild’s series four (from earlier this year), this special is the cherry on top. Four was season as entertaining as any other installments in this Acorn TV exclusive series; and we love the energy it brings. Picking up where episode six leaves off (which is a U.S. assassination of a senator), this episode teases out the idea that Harry and Fergus meet someone more dangerous than they had before, and I think this script delivers that.

The story is fabulous and runs the length of a feature rather than the usual 40-plus minutes of a normal season episode. The pacing is good and I love that we see more than just Harry and Fergus back. Other favorite characters return to play a role in the investigation these two shouldn’t be working. Plus, while I cannot say more (spoilers you know), just know that there is one character who gets to flex a fighting spirit, and we love her even more. The episode, while a little more bittersweet than some, is also a nice launching pad into what will be the fifth season set to drop in the next year.
If any of the prior seasons made your favorites list, and most especially if that last cliffhanger makes you curious, well then, this Harry Wild special is good. It’s fabulous which goes beyond just the story. This extends to the production and storytelling, and hanging out with these characters is always a wonderful experience.

Content: There are tense situations. This is within the usual normal range of content for the show though. There is some death. One situation has some minor innuendo; a man has a blind date for the case, and mentions the things someone can do sexually (non graphic).
