We have one month before fans of the franchise get to catch up with Jennifer Shannon and co in the Hallmark mystery series Garage Sale Mysteries. It’s been a while since fans solved a mystery with the team in this series, which is also one of the OG mystery collection of films from the network. As we approach the return of Shannon, let’s take a look at the entire mystery collection in order, and where to watch these Garage Sale titles!

ABOUT
The 90 minute film collection netted sixteen films which ran (quite regularly) from 2013 all the way until 2022. The story is inspired by a series of books and follows Jennifer Shannon, a local businesswoman and mother, as she becomes entangled in curious mysteries while the local detective finds her interference a little tough to deal with. Similarly, she also gives her husband more than one worry, too! Then, finally, there is her best friend and the co-owner of their antique shop, Dani, a woman who tries to be Jen’s voice of reason while also trying to find her perfect mate.

Lori Loughlin, Steve Bacic, Sarah Strange, Kevin O’Grady and later, Eva Bourne and Connor Stanhope, are the main and recurring stars of these films.
This is the basic premise and cast of this collection, and since I am actually rewatching these, let’s share the order of them and where you can find them all.

GARAGE SALE MYSTERY, 2013 pilot
Described as the “pilot,” this one is the first movie that aired an entire year (in September of 2013). It has star Lori Loughlin and Sarah Strange, but a different actor playing Jason Shannon as well as Sara Canning in the role of Hannah Shannon, Jen’s college age daughter. The difference actors in these respective roles means that Loughlin and Strange are the only two actors to appear in all sixteen films as Jen and Dani.
Synopsis: Jennifer loves scouring garage sales to look for items to sell in her resell shop, but realizes a series of burglaries and a friend’s murder may have a connection to the sales. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: ALL THAT GLITTERS october 2014
I actually watched this title because I thought it was the first one and didn’t double check. However, since some of the cast changed, I’m glad. It, like any of these, entertaining and lots of fun and just generally keeps us curious as to how Jennifer will solve this mystery which includes diamonds!
Synopsis: Jennifer Shannon has an eye for antiques and a mind for solving mysteries. When she buys a storage unit at auction, she has no idea she’s opening the door to murder, and realizes the killer is after something inside. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: THE DEADLY ROOM april 2015
Synopsis: Jennifer’s real-estate agent pal dies while trying to negate rumors about a home she’s selling. The police believe there was no foul play, but Jennifer suspects her friend was killed after she researches other deaths. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: THE WEDDING DRESS august 2015
Synopsis: In Jennifer Shannon’s latest quest, she stumbles upon a 30 year-old cold case when she finds a vintage wedding dress containing a clue. As Jenn tracks down the owner, she finds that the Groom mysteriously disappeared. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT january 2016
This film marks the first appearance of Connor Stanhope, now starring as one of the Walter brothers in My Life with the Walter Boys, as Jen’s son Logan.
Synopsis: When Jenn’s old pal Sandra becomes the prime suspect in a murder case, it’ll be up to her to discover who done it before time runs out. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: THE NOVEL MURDERS june 2016
Synopsis: When Detective Lynwood brings two small items into Rags to Riches that were each found at the scene of a murder, Jenn realizes the items are clues straight out of famous mystery novels. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: ART of MURDER january 2017
Synopsis: When Hanna’s sorority sister’s stepmother is found dead, it appears she fell, hitting her head against a pipe. Following the memorial service, Hannah and Abbey go to Jenn. Abbey thinks that something is amiss. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: THE BEACH MURDER august 2017
Synopsis: Annie Winters is a long-time customer of Rags-to-Riches and her husband Garret is a wealthy internet entrepreneur. When Garret’s dead body is found washed up on the beach, it looks like an apparent surfing accident. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: MURDER by TEXT august 2017
Synopsis: John Dalton’s concert rehearsal is stalled when the entire crew receives a suicide note from Lita, the band’s bassist. After discovering that a taser was used to immobilize her before her death, Jenn is skeptical. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: MURDER MOST MEDIEVAL august 2017
Synopsis: Jenn finds the body of a local college history professor hidden in a 15th century suit of armor she purchased for a wealthy client. As she narrows down the murder suspects, she finds herself caught in the killer’s web. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERY: A CASE of MURDER august 2017
Synopsis: Jenn buys an old reel-to-reel recorder at a garage sale only to find that it includes the sound of a man pleading for his life. Jenn’s investigation leads to other patients. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES: THE PANDORA’S BOX MURDERS august 2018
This is the film movie that dropped the ‘mystery’ and instead used ‘mysteries’ for its titling. Cannot remember if I’ve seen it but I am sure I have. Either way, I am sure it’s a fun mystery which also has Antonio Cupo playing one of the guest character roles.
Synopsis: Jennifer Shannon is approached by Tamara Andronicus to solve a puzzle box left behind by Tamara’s recently deceased mother-in-law. When Jenn discovers Tamara dead, she suspects that the puzzle box may hold the answer. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES: THE MASK MURDER august 2018
Synopsis: Jennifer Shannon purchases a plaster mask of a beautiful dead woman modeled after the famous “Le Belle Italienne” from a storage locker auction. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES: PICTURE a MURDER august 2018
Synopsis: Jenn acquires an antique camera from the estate of a deceased and wealthy photography enthusiast. When Jenn gets the photos in the camera printed, they lead her to believe the man’s death was anything but accidental. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES: MURDER in D MINOR august 2018
Synopsis: Jennifer puts the winning bid on a vintage Welte-Mignon player piano at the estate auction of a philanthropist, but soon realizes that the late owner may have led a less than charitable life. – via Hallmark+
GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES: SEARCHED & SEIZED october 2022
The last film to air prior to these films disappearing (and if I remember right, this one was produced quite a while before it actually aired), I don’t think I’ve actually seen this film. I’m sure it’s more of the same though which is a film that presents us with a fun little mystery.
Synopsis: Jennifer Shannon agrees to help a fellow antiques dealer by bidding on items at a police auction on his behalf. When he turns up dead, she investigates a counterfeiter with mob ties. – via Hallmark+

GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES: MURDER TAKES THE STAGE september 19, 2026
This is the upcoming and latest film to be a part of the Garage Sale Mysteries franchise. In this one, Jennifer Shannon will solve a case with theatrical ties, and the returning cast will include Connor Stanhope (from My Life with the Walter Boys), Steve Bacic, Sarah Strange, Eva Bourne and Lori Loughlin.
Synopsis: One of the members of Jennifer Shannon’s true-crime book club is murdered during the group’s reenactment of the Lizzie Borden case. – via Hallmark Channel

This is all the information and news that is available right now! With this new 2026 mystery, it is possible Hallmark will produce more since this isn’t really a “necessary” film given the movies all kind of stand on their own (for the most part), but I suspect that any future clues about those may rest on how well this new entry does. So, check back here in the future because if anything new (and confirmed by a star or Hallmark) drops, I’ll do my best to add it here.
