A familiar favorite, season eight of Hudson and Rex returns as new adventures await this crime solver and his four-legged partner.

Solving crimes is what detective Mark Hudson (Luke Roberts) does best. Along with an elite Major Crimes team of detectives and his German Shepard K-9 partner, the team solves murder cases and missing persons.
Their current case involves dangerous people with ties to the mob and the search for a missing person who was witness to a murder.

As a result, of course I don’t understand all of the backstories or some of the emotions that stem from them. There was also some backlash because of a casting change, too, but the show seems to still be telling some heartwarming stories and has the same supporting cast. What surprised me is this show is way more high stakes than I anticipated it to be.

The cast is good and of course, we love seeing Rex do his thing. The bonds does already have connections, which I am sure, is something that jumping in on this first episode of this season eight gets lost in translation, but I also like seeing the cast in these roles. There is intensity but there are also feel-good connections or moments too, which is nice.
If you have been watching this show, I am sure you will enjoy Hudson and Rex season eight. If you, like me haven’t seen this, but you do like crime procedurals then I’m here to say, you can still enjoy the start of this season.
