Jingle Around the Clock – Busy Career Professional Finds Love

As we enter the weekend before Christmas, it might be time to unwind from the hustle and bustle of last-minute Christmas shopping with a new Christmas movie. Hallmark Channel hopes you consider their new original, Jingle Around the Clock.

Hard work isn’t something Elle Bennet (Brooke Nevin) is afraid of. In fact, she’s used to it, and she thrives on being busy. This year, she’s busy with the annual Christmas party she and her college friends always plan; and then, on top of this, she volunteers for a new ad campaign. At work, her boss discovers their about-to-be-launched campaign needs a re-work. This means Elle has to get creative, and prepare an important presentation.

Max (Michael Cassidy) is an expert who’s in Chicago from their New York office to help with the re-vamp. Only trouble is, Elle isn’t ready to work with someone else; and to further complicate things, the two end up in competition for the same promotion!

Like each of its peers, this is a sweet little treat to enjoy on those Saturday night’s in. Back when I first read about the 2018 Hallmark Channel lineup, this is one that immediately caught my eye. By appearance alone, it looked like it’d be festive. Plus the idea of seeing Brooke in another Hallmark will also draw Hallmark viewers in. For me, this is the first time I’ve seen Michael Cassidy in anything, but I find I really like him. Eagle eye viewers will also recognize Andrea Brooks and Jeremy Guilbaut.

Not only is the cast good, but the story is too. While the romance doesn’t “pop” quite as much as some Hallmark originals, I still really like them together. The story also uses common scenes or moments to a better advantage which means we see this Christmas movie in a new, but equally as fun way. There’s a poignant feeling that evokes some bittersweet feelings on behalf of our characters. Never fear though, there’s still plenty of décor and festive merry making.

As Christmas fast approaches, and you’re in the mood for a Christmas film with sparkles, let Hallmark Channel and Jingle Around the Clock entertain you.
