REVIEW: It’s been a minute since I read the first three books in this Elite Guardians series. I eagerly read each one and yet when it came down to reading this fourth book, I didn’t make time for it. Why, I do not know as it too was something I had hopes to enjoy.

There’s adventure and mystery along with a healthy dose of romantic possibility. I appreciate that this is more about interest and building blocks for a future between the two leads as this is more genuine, and also plays into the end. There’s a few unexpected turns in the book, too, which makes it more interesting.
There’s a fast pace mystery that is full of intrigue and an interesting backstory. Of course, the characters are also likable, and we get to play catch up with our favorites from the first three novels, too. If you like anything by Eason or the likes of Dani Pettrey, you’ll enjoy Chasing Secrets.
