Fatal Trust (2006) Incendo TV Film Review
Returning to her hometown is what Kate (Amy Jo Johnson) needs to hopefully help her fully heal. A year after her husband’s tragic death she’s struggling and so she, along with her son, now lives with her sister. Looking for a job, she finds one with the local doctor, Dr. Mark Lucas (David Haydn-Jones) as his assistant and receptionist. Her return also reintroduces her to her high school boyfriend, Tom (Paul Popowich).
She’s not long back when she is warned away from Dr. Lucas and deaths in their community begin to be suspicious.

‘FATAL TRUST’: JUST ANOTHER GOOD TV MYSTERY FROM INCENDO #Movies #Mystery #IncendoProductions Share on XAnother of the Incendo productions, this thriller features actress Amy Jo Johnson from the Canadian show Flashpoint. Since I did binge that a couple years ago, it’ fun to see her in one of these titles. She’s good as a single mother looking for safety. The overall plot of Fatal Trust boils down to a girl returning to her hometown, reuniting with family and those she knew. It’s more of a comfort kind of story.
Still, there’s also some decent mystery (tense scenes) that build to a pretty good climax. If you have seen any of the other mysteries from this company, Fatal Trust is worth a watch. Some are a miss, but this one is more of a hit in that it has good acting and an interesting story.

Content: There’s tense moments and a creepy snake (if that creeps you out – it does me!) used for murder. There’s a suicide (non-graphic) and two car accidents (again, not graphic). Someone shoots a person to death. There’s two sex scenes both with clothing removal, and movement before the scene cuts away. The film is TV-14.
