It’s been a minute since a little quiz was posted up here, and it’s also been a minute since I watched a certain Julian Fellows drama. However, as this is a bit of an anniversary, it’s time to look at a little Gosford Park 20 years later quiz!

But given the incredible success Julian Fellows had with ITV’S Downton Abbey, and perhaps his upcoming HBO show Gilded Lily, it seems like sharing a little something to mark the occasion of a two-decade movie anniversary may be a fun thing to do. If you’re unfamiliar with this Fellowes penned drama, it’s an alphabet of recognizable British talent playing in a story about a country house party that ends up turning, well, deadly. Thus begins a curious rush to the film’s end over who may be a murderer.
The story is, mostly, experienced through the perspective of young Mary, a Scottish girl who’s quite innocent but taken in by a Lady who seems willing to train her up as a proper ladies maid. Beyond this, some characters blur into another while others don’t come into focus until nearer the end of the film. Either way, this is certainly one of those quintessential British films that is all about the proper way of doing things, while also tossing in a scoundrel or two.
