7 OF THE BOOK TITLES IN UNITS OF TIME

When it comes to book cover art, I’m quite the snob. However I’m also all about a good title. This is why we’re looking at a very specific kind of title naming this week. That would be book titles in units of time. Seems like this could be fun, right?

Like usual, I’m trying to only feature books I own because honestly, it’s fun to look through what I own and I like to think it will kick my reader butt into wanting to actually read the books on my shelf. Realistically I don’t think it does, but hey, this is the rule we follow. It’s all short and sweet to open this week – let’s jump on in.

BOOK TITLES IN UNITS OF TIME

1: A WEEK OF MONDAYS, JESSICA BRODY

Have this one to sell or donate but technically I still own it. Follows a kind of Ground Hog day (same day keeps on repeat) premise only in a YA and presumably pink (cover art) world. Goodreads

2: THE BOOK OF HOURS, DAVIS BUNN

This is one I read SO many years ago. I don’t remember specifics about the story but do recall it’s a good one with a castle and mystery surrounding the entire plot. I often wonder if I’d still like the books I read years ago. But then usually I’m too “scared” to go back and find out. Goodreads

3: AFTER ALL THESE YEARS, SALLY JOHN

I read this one years ago and it’s actually one of the first books I reviewed here just as an “on my own.” It was before I knew book reviewing was a whole thing (with publishers and the like) and so it’s always interesting to go back and look at the reviews. Goodreads

4: EIGHT PERFECT HOURS, LIA LOUIS

We love a seasonal read, right? Don’t know much about this one but do know Lia shot to author fame with her novel Dear Emmie Blue. Goodreads

5: SECOND CHANCE SUMMER, MORGAN MATSON

Using this one because finding the right titles on my bookshelf to fit this week is tougher than I anticipated. Oh, and no, still haven’t read this one! Goodreads

6: SECONDS TO LIVE, SUSAN SLEEMAN

Read this one over a year ago now. Don’t remember the particulars but I think I did enjoy it well enough. It’s a thriller kind of novel following a cyber criminal and the people trying to stop these attacks. Susan’s other titles in this series also fit which are Minutes to Die and Hours to Kill. Goodreads

7: SECOND CHANCES, DEBRA WHITE SMITH

Don’t think I ever read this one but it’s been on my shelf for a long time and I think my mother did read it. Goodreads

It’s to you now, reader friends! Have you read any of these? Would you? Do any look familiar? Which ones made your lists this week? Let’s hear all the thoughts and comments! Please…

As always, thank you for making time to be here. My apologies I don’t visit your spaces prompter and reply to your comments here, too! I see all of your comments and really appreciate them and will continue to make good efforts to promptly reply.

Thank you for visiting! Please do come back soon.

    1. For sure. Wish I could find more to make fit (because I always break the rule a little bit) but this is what I came up with. :) Thanks for visiting.

    1. Good idea! I’m not as organized as making a spreadsheet, but a few weeks ago, I did write drafts of a bunch of upcoming TTT topics so that always helps. :) And yes! That is the fun of all the differing lists. Thanks so much for visiting, Terrie.

    1. I only wish I could have found a few more that fit. I may have had I looked harder, but hey, I made it work. :) Thanks for visiting, Anne.

    1. I always thought ‘Mondays’ could be fun too! I just never read it. But it sure fits perfectly for our topic. :) Thanks for visiting, Rae.

    1. Mine clutch too, Emily! I try always to feature just hte books I own (though haven’t read). Sometimes that’s easier, and sometimes it’s more of a challenge. But nonetheless I found some (thought not as many as I’d like) and made them work. :D Thanks for visiting.

  1. This topic was harder than I thought too ! I have Second Chance Summer and still haven’t read it yet… hopefully I’ll read it this summer. Your list was really good!

    1. I still haven’t read Morgan’s ‘Summer’ book. It sounds a little bittersweet so I think that’s mostly what is holding me back. :) Thanks so much for visiting! Really appreciate this.

    1. It’s one I read YEARS ago, but still have fond memories of. Makes me wonder… should I risk a re-read!? ;) Thanks for visiting, Lydia.

  2. Recently read When The Day Comes by Gabrielle Meyer, a phenomenal time travel story. And I just finished Midnight’s Budding Morrow by Carolyn Miller, a gothic Regency. Another Gothic: Twilight at Moorington Cross by Abigail Wilson, always love her stories.

    1. I see Gabrielle’s book is getting LOTS of good ratings on GR. Glad to know it’s a good read. Thanks for sharing your time unit favs, Paula. :)
