SEVEN BOOK FAMILIES WE LOVE TO SPEND TIME WITH

Back at with a new Tuesday and new book list as we roll into a new week and one that’s going into the Thanksgiving holiday too. Resulting from this, we’re coming into a topic of thankfulness. Specifically we’re looking at some of the book families we love.

We did a list like this already but I check and it was about four or so years ago. Given that, I think it’s safe to put together another list because we should be able to find some families that are different from the last list we put together. Let’s see which families we can find.

BOOK FAMILIES WE LOVE

THE DASHWOOD WOMEN

This is probably the only Austen family I should add to this list since Sense and Sensibility is the only of her novels I’ve read. Don’t really remember details but I know I did read it. I also do love the Dashwood family which comprises of Mrs. Dashwood and her three daughters Elinor, Marianne and Margaret. Add on Goodreads

THE MCKENNA FAMILY

I adore this family from Dani Pettrey’s Alaskan Courage series. The characters are just so good and memorable. Makes me want to re-read this series. Add on Goodreads

THE MCKINLEY FAMILY

Denise Hunter’s McKinley siblings and parents is one of the most memorable. I remember the first book Barefoot Summer having a profound effect on me and though I have still to give the novel a re-read, it remains a favorite of mine. Add on Goodreads

THE O’MALLEY SIBLINGS

A group of children formed to make a family and growing up they all become noble professionals like firefighters, EMTs, and hostage negotiators. I just love this series not only for their professions and values, but the characters as well. Add on Goodreads

THE PEVENSIE SIBLINGS

These siblings from C.S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia are some of my most favorite characters. Add on Goodreads

THE PORTER FAMILY

Siblings form the basis of this series. I enjoy this series so very much and that author Becky Wade often uses siblings to connect her novels. This family is three brothers and their feisty sister. Add on Goodreads

THE WOODWARD SISTERS

The sisters in Becky Wade’s Misty River series are fabulous characters. I enjoy their banter and the cute threads where we get to spend time with them. Add on Goodreads

In the same spirit of our list which is thankfulness, I just want to say thank you so much for being here! I’m grateful you take the time to visit here and spend time chatting with me. Again apologies I haven’t been more prompt to visit your websites and reply to your comments. But I’m glad you’re here and appreciate your comments. Love to chat with everyone.

How many of these families have you met? Would you like to meet any of them? What type of thankful lists did you put together? HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you all. Hope you have a wonderful holiday. Drop all of your comments below. Thanks for being here.
